Mark Stoughton:

This looks more like a blocking pass than a final animation

Joseph K. Garrahan:

good drawing. move the whole thing not just the parts.

Eric Huang:

nice posing and facial expressions! I feel this is still very rough and not polished. It needs inbetweens and breakdowns.

Justin G:

needs in-betweens for more stars

Tyler Phillips:

Nice job! When he says "I thought", he ends in one pose and then snaps into another "end" pose. I would just pick one of them.

Gregory Marlow:

Looking nice but there are some volume changes and size issues.

Bruno Celegão Monteiro:

nice poses but the lack of in betweens really compromised your animation

Aaron Jonas:

nice work. would like to see it smoothed out

John Erickson:

good start. some good poses.

Ann-Marie Denham:

Not sure about the assymetric hand raising on "that maybe". Be nice to see this one fleshed out further.

Josh Doohen:

needs more frames...but great drawings!!

Andrew Linke:

I like the major poses, very expressive would have been nice to see more fluid animation however.

myung lee:

I dont quite get the setting, but i can clearly tell what hes thinking. great stuff! i wish there were more drawings. :P

Alonso Soriano:

ran out of time? great start. watch the volumes

a lilttle too many poses I think, at the end he mellows which is good, but in the middle they're coming fast and don't really flow from one to the next easily 64 69 80

kienwei80:

Quite good kep poses. But no inbetween.

samy.oddjob@gmail.com:

be less lazy next time, it's really ncie too bad you haven't made more poses

David Artura:

I'd love to see this a little better realized. It looks to still be in a bit of the blocking phase. Keep working on it and finish the piece.

David Bokser:

The poses are good but it needs a lot more polish.

Nate Dorn:

would like to see this with inbetweens

Mariya Kalachova:

wow. Beautiful poses! great timing! too bad it is unfinished, but I guess that's the problem with doing a 2d quick animation in your spare time. Good job!

Roger Feron:

Good arm movements, but the body seems too 'straight' during the animation. Maybe a bit more twisting or leaning would help. I like the head movements.

Steve Clarke:

I like the gestures and understand the amountof work going into hand-drawn animation, however I'd like to see the transitions between poses much more fluid and natural.Great expessiveness though.

vinay:

nice.

Aaron Clement:

I liked the last half... His volume changed a lot in the first half, though... Good job on the last half all the same.

Victor Wong:

It's too bad that you ran out of time to do the tweens, but the poses are pretty strong and there's good expression here.

Ciaran:

Decent enough but the way it alternates between a big pose and that same bent knee/ dropped shoulder pose just gets too repetitive. I think you should act it out yourself first and try a few variations before going beyond the thumbnail stage.

Giovanni:

Great animatics

Eric Scheur:

Very cool to see some 2d on here! :)

I definitely feel the desperation of your character. But I feel like there might be a few too many poses here, even for his distrought mood.

For example "Help him in some way" feels like it doesn't really need your pose at 70 and then at 91. You could hold 70 for a lot longer, through much more of that phrase--I think it would be a stronger read.

Then, on frame 140, it almost feels like he's indicating screen right because he's already indicated screen left on 70. Don't be afraid to return to a similar pose, if it goes with the scene--we tend to re-iterate our movements a lot, especially when referring to people and places apart from us.

I hope you keep entering in 2d. You obviously have a great sense of what makes a strong pose--I read your poses instantly, and that's perfect! I just think there could be fewer of them. :)

Cheers!

Robert Tighe:

This is fun. Nice timing and strong posing. Too bad his feet are nailed to the floor.

Paul Borawski Jr.:

It's good but very unrefined and it looks like some body parts were tweened in places which took me out of the style you were going for.

André Moreira Forni:

I like it, the only thing i see that is a bit strange is that there are no transition to some poses sometimes, it is looking like a blocked animation sometimes.

But it is a nice aniamtion and i like the sync

Well done !
