Description: I proceeded blocking out and making things up as I went along with the animation, even funnier was when I started at the end with the scream and working my way backwards. I did revise the shirt showing through the first pass.

Tim Lobes:

Really good job at an anger face!

dan alvarez:

Very nice! You've definitely managed to capture anger in this piece.
Though, you lose me a little right at the end when the other person speaks. It's just a bit too fast (his poses jump) and he doesn't seem.... hurt? upset? just always angry throughout.
This is a nice piece, but for it to be even better, I think you need to throw in some moments with different emotion.. a broader range. There is a lot in the audio for you to draw from, not just anger.

Dhar:

Great snappy performance, excellent exaggeration of emotions. Facial expressions are top notch. The only problem I had wth him is that he's neither short nor fat :D

Luc Degardin:

Nice animation. you could make it a lot better if you calm down some movements: now, each movement have the same intensity

Dan:

Great Perspective and emotions, I would like to see this in 1st person looking downward.

Jason Smith:

Great expressions!! Nice job.

Neil Polenske:

Need to hold the poses a bit more, especially during the reply, but other 'n that, kick ass.

Renaud Déchaux:

Animation is good. it's maybe too exaggerate compare with the audio but emotion is present.

V_I_C_K_Y:

I Liked tht insequre's gesture.

Louis Ng:

I like the angry feeling he portrays. Good job pulling on the extremes.

In my opinion he got agitated too fast. Some slight transition would be nice.

J Saunders:

really good but who said the "i made you short?"

Johnny Castuciano:

at "look at me" I'd leave the hand on the face, instead of doing 2 poses for that one line. Simplified! other wise really awesome!!

Charles Eubanks:

I like your character model, and your animation is quite good! One thing that could have made the performance more solid would be to skew it less toward anger. The strong eye contact and gestures work against the feeling of insecurity, IMO. Also, the sorrow doesn't read clearly, because his brows raise up but not together (frame 221). But overall, nice work!

Tamara van Zal:

I like this character, he's a weirdo haha. To me it seems there was too much rapid movement. At the time when the second voice spoke the character could have taken a calming break from strong poses and movement. You made a nice hectic styled animation :)

jinu:

too much emotion, but liked the shaking and all

Guilherme Trog:

The character is shaking a lot, huh? =p

Michael Cawood:

I love the anger, the face, the hands... and stylistically it works really well. There's just a little nagging feeling that the hands, head and body aren't moving as though they are connected. In other words the IK is a little too in control. But otherwise, really very impressive work.

Caleb Drewel:

very good facial expressions, but i dont think they work with the voice clip. but very good animation overall, smooth and well very well done.

Niels Beekes:

Great facial expressions! He's even a bit more angry then I thought he would be in de audio! That's a good thing in my opinion though.

Mike Courtney:

even if the hips are off camera, they still move with the character, so animate them

gary hsu:

I like the facial expression, but the body is too jerky for me

John Vassallo:

a few too many poses, maybe a little too much on the angry shaking, but pretty nice

David Trudel:

I like the character, very expressive!

jonathan fontaine:

waaa.. very expressive

Paul Naas:

Watch that you don't overemphasize facial expressions beyond what's going on in the audio. In a couple of places, the expressions were too extreme for the intensity of the audio.

Matthew Brophy:

the animation was great but i feel the mood of the character at the end was incorrect for the clip

Dan Dulberger:

I like the intense fury. Maybe abit over the top for this shot but fun to watch.

jonathan topf:

To many poses!!! Less is more, nice and snappy tho, also simplify the eyebrows dude

Aaron Clement:

I like the energy... felt a bit over animated at times... great exaggeration...just a little too much at times.

Cameron Huber:

This is pretty cool, and to be honest I like the fact that the animation is a little snappy - gives a neat effect. The only thing that doesn't really fit is his emotion. I'm not sure whether he's flaming angry or eccentric and depressed.

danyeal:

maybe a little too much action. try to highlight one or two poses. its all very extreme in the end

Ken Rice:

This is a nice character and there's a lot of good animation going on here. However to me the character looks angrier than the sound track suggests and I don't think the point when the character rubs his eyes (about one third into the animation) works very well.

Bader Badruddin:

great poses, and the trembling works really well. it gets a bit jerky (which is one of my biggest hates in animation) but u can almost getway with it as a unique style, just dont over do it. energy is fantastic, especially when he says fat.

Rob:

Hitting the same note with the body too many times. He's using the same timing and intensity for every accented word and by the end of the scene it's very repetitive. Try using some of the accents as minor accents within anticipations to break up the scene and add some different body language to the overall acting.

Beat Bachmann:

Very expressive :-) !

Spencer Jones:

this was really good but felt he got worked up to fast and you should have built his anger/frustration whatever a bit slower from like 1% at the beginning to 100% at the end rather than like 1 at the start and frame 120 100%. i was expecting him to turn into the hulk by frame 250 hehe. was really good though dont get me wrong

Will:

full of emotion, really like the shaking and extreme facial expressions!

Dave:

a few too many poses. The "FFFFat" is really nice. The mouth contortions push the model a bit too much, and i would have him keep still during "i made you short?". He should be listening, expecting comfort but instead gets sass...then he screams in frustration

Aaron Jonas:

great emotion. He looks a little too angry

Taber Dunipace:

Wow, opposite problem of most people. You have TOO MUCH emphasis. Well done, it's a better error to make. Try to tone it down in places and leave the really BIG emphasis for what's important in the scene (should only be one or two places max).

sharad kumar:

Hi..one of the best angry expressions i have seen!!!!...but u need to control his hands.Like when he says 'look', u can avoid taking hands up so close to the face. His left index finger sticks out when he says 'insecure' ..u can avoid that probably. And just before he shouts his fingers penetrate into the head. All the best.

dinesh:

brilliant!! amazing facial expressions and lip sync.. spot on!!

Gregory Naud:

Good acting!
The way he's shaking on some extreme poses is good. But maybe you should have kept that only for the crescendo lines, not for the shout at the end.

Amy:

The rage and the shaking doesn't quite match the character's speech.

Dave Blanchette:

Nice expressions

Zee Myers:

nice job! i think you overdo the shaking a bit, while it's great, it loses some of its power by being there for so much of it. maybe build it up "short" - none, "fat" - starts a little, etc.

M.Bell:

It's 'well animated'... but...is it 'over animated?' Makes you think... perhaps next time do less (animation wise) so you can spend more time on getting the feeling 100%. That's just my opinion of it though. Great effort!

Andrew Linke:

That dude has some rage!!! some rage i don't hear in the voice over. Great animating but make it match the voice a little bit more for a more convincing performance.

Timothy Doolen:

The furious shakes was a good idea that lends itself nicely to the dialog. My only critique, and it might well be one of preference is that the character looked too angry. My interpretation of the dialog is more of a pathetic nature. Really nice!

Renn:

Marvellous facial animation, if a bit over the top. Its nice to see a different emotional state portrayed rather than the usual submissive depression.

Extra star for the awesome hands.
