Feel like this animation was dodging the lip and face movement by picking a character without a mouth. Just feel it would be much more interesting with different characters and more face animation.

Hi there. My biggest advice for you is to experiment with contact poses. Practice contrapposto and line of action more. Also check out Ed Hook's "Acting for Animators" if you haven't already.

The set up is nice, but the animations are lacking a bit. I thing you should have the kid move his feet so he's in a more relaxed position when he talks. The boy character is a good rig but if the character is in the scene when there is dialogue I feel like you should have used someone how could talk.
