Arindam:

good -------
but u need to work more on hand gestures----------

Julien Abenhaim:

good work as usual :) especialy for the short amount of time

eejun:

Nice Character Setup and animation there!

Zachariah Mathew:

really nice subtlties to the acting ....loved the way you played on that 1 main pose and used the eye movement so well.

Romain Digonnet:

Good animation, simple and effective. It portrays the emotions well.
The lips could be ameliorated.

Carlos Fins:

Great facial expressions.

Lianna Scrimger:

Nice work Daniel, good to see the progression from the first puppet version on the forums. I think you really captured this character's sense of frustration and hurt. My only crit would be that the lips on 'music' seem a bit too soft. Congrats!

Steve C:

This is a really nice subtle piece. The posing and expressions work quite well with the dialogue. Good work!

Nate Lane:

really nice lip syncing. Well done :) Keep it up!

Rory:

upper lip is stiff, but over all its good

Brad Regier:

Nice facial!
I should have liked to have seen his hand earlier. ?

Ryan Lowe:

Great shot. Sync wise your missing a lot of your "M"s and "P"s that are SOOO important if your shot is framed that tight on the characters face. But, your eye movement looks great! Along with the subtle shifts of weight in the head.

vince gorman:

nice subtleties, maybe more exaggeration on the deep breaths

Tommy:

mouth movements are great, nice job

BrunoDestefani:

Really nice! Mostly face work but you were able to convey the emotion. Maybe add a little of the hands in the beginning...but very good overall. Good chances of winning

Joanne Ku:

nice facial!

Marco Palmieri:

very smooth. maybe a few actions repeated. and a few not hitting the timing right. great work otherwise

Avner Engel:

Man, you have done it again!
I love your interpretation, simple, solid and has plenty of appel!
Congrats on a very well thought and captivating piece of animation.

Louis Ng:

Nice work. It's hard to work with only the head. :) It may be good to do something with the hands even if they are out of screen, because their gesturing can be felt.

Jason Smith:

Mr. H.... your work is so awesome! Keep it up!

Pete Shand:

Nice facial animation!

Richie:

the hands kind of sneeks up at the end any way of coming up at the start of 'perfect'

Kent Wong:

Smooth animation, eyebrows could be better. Spacing n timing is not bad. Overall good feeling. very nice work.

Nico:

Really convincing, especially with the eyes. I really liked the moment you had just after he says "I can't" and he sort of bites his lip... really cool little subtle addition to an already great piece! Only thing I thought was lacking a little was some more emotion in the shoulders. Maybe they would lift a little when he "realizes" that "it's perfect as it is!" just a suggestion. Fun stuff!

Paul Robbins:

Nice eye movement.

pep:

Great gesture,
I like this alot
just the head movement already shows alot
I would suggest the hand to come up alittle earlier, just an option, totally up to u though.
Love it!!><

Sylvain Bernard:

great stuff, finaly something that is not to overacted, I like your style. Since we a focusing a lot on his face, liip synch could use a bit more work. looks like the corners of the mouth always stays strech out to the sides. specialy on ."Director" and "re-write" and .perfect" need more O shape mouth not to much but more then what you have

Mathias Takacs:

o's and r's need a better mouth shape

Scott Wright:

Body works very well. Facial needs a lot of work. Treat the facial keys like you would the body. Hit them hold..move in and out. Find nice mouth and eye shapes.

Brian Brotherston:

nice emotion. The tight shot lends to the feeling of angst the character is feeling.

Ismael Ontiveros:

its awsome!! but maybe if you change a little bit the shape of the eyebrows you got a better result, now its looks just up and down!!

Jean-Luc Delhougne:

Nice one ;)
You can really feel he's desperate ;)

His eyes are a bit distracting me on " a huge section of my music" ... Too much changes I think ;)

And maybe move his arms a bit more like he's gesturing what he says, even if you don't see his hands in the shot.

Anyway, nice acting and framing choice, very intimate.

Luc Degardin:

Nice facial animation!!!
it's expressive and there's not too much in it, just what it needs!! I really like it!

André Moreira Forni:

Good animation, i just miss more body.

Tom Law:

I really like the subtlety in this, very well done.

Matt Garward:

Try to hold the lips closed on your MBP shapes for 2 frames... the M's in "my music" and the Ps in "perfect" are getting lost. Really nice work, though it would have been nice to see a bit of an emotion/thought change as he starts into "but it's perfect as it is".

Thomas Grummt:

very nice!! good polish and believable thought process. nice poses and expressions. good but still simple body animation.

great lipsync, but a bit late and the closed mouths better had at least 2 frames so they read.

for my taste there should be more change in the eyelids and brows, they stay very similar throughout the shot.

maybe the head accents could be reduced a little at some points (matter of taste).

great work!

Erik Westlund:

Nice emotional performance. Still think that more evidence of hand gestures (bigger movements, out of shot) could help. Eye movement is a little bit soft; darts should be faster. Nice finish.

David Alvarez:

I really dig the eyedarts in this animation. You can tell the internal thought process in the character.
Browns needs more work in my opinion.
Keep up the good work!!

Marcus Tee:

Really nice clean facial animation.

I feel the mouth animation could be better overall, his mouth seems like its always stuck with that wide open jaw.

Great submission.
