Dwarakanath Jnaneswar Ekkirala:

this is awsome! Even pixar cant do this! DJ you rock!! :p

On a serious note... the eye lids are looking stiff, i would change that.

Clayton Miller:

Good job on the subtlety! I'd like to see more contrast in the expressions though, and a little more eye movement as well.

Deanna Bishop:

Great work! I love it. Strong facial emotion. This is a great example of how acting can carry a performance with out excessive gesturing. Looks very natural/realistic. Good job.

Yeray Díaz Díaz:

Great job. Could use a little movement in my opinion but great acting and sync.

Ryan Hagen:

I like the pose you've got her in, but I think you could've pushed it a bit further with some acting.

Adam Levin:

I'd push in a bit closer, cause the body isn't doing much. I like the line of action you were going for, but the pose feels off-balance like the character will fall forward.

Ryan Hobbiebrunken:

The only thing that's off here is the lipsync! Very nice body animation! Good animation as a whole. Just needs some polish!

Shahbaaz Shah:

Great subtlety and overall body posture. I think a little more eye movement and this is gold! Great work!

Dan Dulberger:

Bit off synch in the start for me. Other than that i liked it.

Brad Bradbury:

'mouth shapes are late for the first phrase. 1-60.
Also check your 'sh' shapes.
I think the brows should change a little subtly though this piece. they seem a bit stuck.

Michael Slater:

Very nice. Good lip sync and good movements.

Gordana:

Nice subtle acting overall.. The eyes performance is good throughout. the only moment where they fall a bit to flat for me, is during the silence pause "I'm leaving ...". maybe some eye darts could have helped show either her hesitation or effort or something before she comes up with the next words? just an idea.. The audio seems to be offsynch in certain spots (in "town", "life" especially). I like the shoulder accents throughout, but the silhouette of the right arm is totally lost. Maybe a change of camera angle would do the trick. Good job!

Lauren Wells:

This is feeling really sincere. I really like that final expression that she hits on "live." 105 her front shoulder feels a little deformed. Great job!

Frank Collazo:

good

Florent Perrin:

Very sensitive, very efficient, I like it!
Perhaps a little more life in the eyes? Little movements of eyeballs at the beginning, that could indicate how lost she is... My favourite clip so far, for this month (still 3 clips to rate!)

John T. Coomey:

watch where your elbows are in relation to the camera. You should never cut them at the elbow(screen left arm) The genral pose needs a bit of work. at the moment the screen left arms sillouette is lost in the body..The lip sync seems abit off at the start too... Nice work tho

Aaron Clement:

Not bad. Brows are good. Could use some more contrast. Lip sync feels off. The hunched over pose works... maybe a different pose for the start, though.

Traci Plagmann:

Good pose and great subtle movements. The upper right arm would look better if you could see the elbow in more of the shot and/or use the bend/bow control to give it some bend. The lipsync is a little late on "town". Great job though!

ArunVijayan:

acting is nice!!! If u smooth the body anim it will look better i think......

Alonso Soriano:

really nice effort. face is working well, nice connection breathing throughout the body and accents on words. Bodies really still, which I guess makes sense, hard call whether it could be livened up and still fit the character. 3 main critiques are: the body should be reacting a little bit with the head accents (that might be enough to liven it up), mouth is too strongly in that 1 pose loosen it up a little, and the bottom eyelids hold their pose to strongly as well (especially on the 2nd line, they're eating the pupils) Good job

-Alonso

Jace Bandalin:

Very simple and clear acting which worked out very well. The mouth movements could have used a little more pushing but overall great job, the emotion read very clearly!

Christiaan Moleman:

Think you could animate the lower eyelids more, otherwise nice subtle stuff.

Christian Leon Christensen:

lipsync a bit late on 'town', but super otherwise

Alex Zemke:

Very nice acting! Simple, subtle, not at all afraid to hold a pose, great! There are moments when the movement is a tad quick and sharp for the tone, but those can be smoothed out. Very nice!

Derek Mabson:

I like the subtleness in this animation. I think it matches the audio pretty good. Animation is executed nice. There is a delay on lip sync.

Virgil Mihailescu:

I think the lipsync is a little off, but I like the acting, reduced in intensity, yet detailed and expressive.

P Walters:

Sound seems to be a bit off. Good movement. The beginning seems to be a bit stiff but the last half is nice an fluid. Nice.

Taber Dunipace:

Very nice subtle acting job but the character never really does anything interesting. Needs some sort of body gesture.

Robert Tighe:

Not a lot of movement in the body here. Lip synch is a bit off.

Mike Courtney:

The one pose is alright, but more are needed.

alejandro chavero:

great job, just watch out for some pops you have.

Carlos Fins:

I like the subtle choice of acting.. fits in with the dialogue. Audio feels off, tho.. lip synch is late.. could be something with the compression of the clip?

Ryan King:

I don't know whether it is because of the compression or whether it was animated this way but it seems out of sync. I'll assume it's the compression, and say it looks good but around the i'm living part it seems alittle flappy in the lips. It's hard to tell though.

Ryan Malm:

a very believable performance. bravo!

Kyle Mohr:

Pretty good, I like the expressions. Would be nice to see at least one more variation in that base pose, just to break up that C shape a little bit. (And, not sure if it's just my comp, but the audio seems to be a little off from the lip sync) Good work though!

Eric Stirpe:

Great lipsyncing and facial acting, but I would love to see more body movement; even if it's just one hand; cuz this way is, well, a little boring..

luis veiga pumar:

begining of lipsync upto frame 38 needs work on, the middle needs a lot of work, but the end of the lipsync from ' a life i have no wish to live' is good, just needs a bit of fixing.

Dylan Maxwell:

so sad. good eyes in the beginning.

Peter:

that's pretty good. :D Just the sync was off on the 1st half of the animation. :(

Jett Atwood:

Very nice. I like the subtlety of your acting. The despair is definitely there.

Eric Scheur:

Really nice and subtle acting! Very very cool. I think that the body could react a little more when she hangs her head, but otherwise, this is really touching animation. :)
