Igor Medovshikov:
I don't understand why Dad brings up his hand to his mouth.
Matt Hirengen:
the timing is a bit even, but I like the idea.
Amdbcg:
interesting concept :P
alan:
interesting idea. i find myself looking at the kid more than the person talking. overall, good job.
Kim Allen:
Love the internal camera viewport. Nice idea
Daniel Erwin:
the camera interface is a little distracting.. i dont feel like its a necessary story point.
Erik Griott:
the plane being throw at the screen, and the father's reaction to it doesnt quite time up right. he should be like "omg wtf are you doing!?" right away, but he continues with his calm conversation with the camera and only reacts to the plane after he finishes. i think it would have been a better choice to have the plane thrown at the screen after the father's dialog. also, i think the camera decor is a little too much. you would have been fine with a simple flashing record icon in the bottom corner.
Mark Homoky:
Interesting scene as the shot opens. Never thought of the idea of a camera viewfinder view into the animtated scene we're creating.
Not sure if we really need the smoking reference in F95/96 (and the character doesn't inhale / exhale - no torso movement to match the left hand). Having said this the son is hard at work 'tinkering' with the model.
However, to be critical for a moment, I think better use of the frame could have been made by moving in closer (to make the lip movements more obvious for example) but I like the super strength the son seems to have throwing the plane across the room and hitting the camera with it.
Martin Silfvast:
Cool focus effect in the start. Feels a little bit unpolished, a little bit stiff here and there.
Nate Moody:
Width of the mouth just a bit too static. Also the kids animations are really jerky. Not a bad concept, but the throwing of the airplane at the camera was a bit excessive. Also, the slow blur from the camera was more distracting than anything. not bad... The eyes have a good quality, but they twitch too much. Find an area for them to focus, and lock them to it. It just seems like he is really distracted, and not chastising someone.
Barnabas Boehler:
A little too much going on at once to really focus on 1 character's performance
Carol Cheng:
the body animation could be smoother, right now it looks like everything moves at the same time. also taking the puff from the cigarette could be taken out, right now it looks like a rushed motion.
Leow Chan Ghee:
Interesting concept!
Carlos Fins:
I think the clips that had an actual child in the clips haven't been effective at all. Yet, this one gave me a laugh. I think it's because it looks like he's trying to fix it, and then he throws it at the camera. Dunno. The acting on the dad starts off ok, then it gets crazy with him looking like he's going to leap off the chair.
Matthew:
The plane seems weightless when he throws it.
Ashwani:
very good funny also
picasso:
hahaha...very funny......i wonder what wuld have happend if he was workin on a nuclear bomb....
