Animator: Kensaba

Description: Lowman is very proud about his son. I tried to give richman personality to him, so not much big arm moves, but more subtle hands and face expresion. Moreover, I tried to get a direct interaction with the spectator/camera, like he is talking to You.

Experience: Pationate student!

Time taken: about 40 hours

Matt Hirengen:

good poses, but it seems like he's acting more with his hand than his face. it's a little distracting.

Igor Medovshikov:

He is moving the head too much in the beginning

Jeremy Schichtel:

hand gestures feel a little late, try hitting on them a frame or two before the accents

colus havenga:

i like the style of this. theres a few jumpy movements and the the facial poses doesnt always match up with the dialogue.

Josh:

The body animation is great, but the lip sync isn't spot on.

Shon Stewart:

not bad. The audio seems like if out of sink with the animation. The mouth shape should Be displayed just before the audio. There is to much movement on the right hand. He should be speaking with his face and not his hands.

Ryan Fernan:

Lip sync is way off. I see this a lot on peoples work. When they are animating to the audio in whatever program they are using, it probably looks fine. But you have to remember once you render out and then output out of a program like premiere the audio lots of times gets shifted. So a good rule of thumb is to shift you audio forward 2 or 3 frames in Premiere before you output it in order to compensate.

Kevin Scott:

kinda floaty at times. but i like the poses!

Barnabas Boehler:

Haha, I love the gesture for talk about. A lot of the other gestures are really cool as well. but when he starts shifting towards the camera...I think you need to have a better weight shift as he steps forward.

natalie:

charming

Andre de Villiers:

work on your facial expressions, especially the brows.. Torso seems a bit floaty and causes irratic head movements. Simplify the motion of some of the core poses (hips, torso and head).

Martin Silfvast:

good effort

Abraham Aguilar:

right hand is a little distracting.

other than that... great work.

Andy Hass:

Are we watching him through a peep hole? That's not a bad idea actually... *pats self on back*

E. Cooman:

Could use a bit more detail on the lypsync.

Damien Pougheon:

interesting work on hands , be careful on and lipsynch ,often late

Raasi N:

Nice poses and composition throughout......only the last pose looks little odd from the shoulder ..just maybe slightly tilt the shoulder backward will look excellent...

Chad Swanson:

Try exaggerating the expressions a little more. Good job,

James Fearn-Wannan:

You've got a great camera angle and man/camera interaction thing going there. I think it works especially well in the latter half.
