Jeff Kim:

I like the body animation: it matches well with the subtleties of the audio. However, the lip sync can use another pass or two. After that, then this would be a really solid piece!

Igor Medovshikov:

I really like this one.

Corey McDaniel:

Would be nice to see some more contrast in the poses & expressions. Feels very soft overall. Great gestures on "maybe we'll have something to talk about. Very good overall peice!

Amdbcg:

it starts out kindof straight, but its good toward the end @220
-he needs more movement in the beginning

Matt Hirengen:

nice subtle acting. he could use more expression facially, but great work!

Tim Roberts:

I didn't see the character as sad as this, but this really works. nice job.

Sunny Kharbanda:

Some good subtle poses and expressions here. The timing gets a little too smooth and plain at times. A little more texture in the timing would really elevate your work!

Jeremy Schichtel:

that last pose is great

Matthew:

I think you should anticipate the sigh a little bit more.

Alex Crouch:

Excellent understated poses, very believable performance!

Daniel Morgan Walsh:

Awesome weight in the shoulder's at the end. The lip sync was a little off and the face need more energy to look more natural, but it was good.

Shon Stewart:

nice body animation! this piece needs more expression in the face though!

Erik Griott:

i appreciate how subtle this is. when he says "then, maybe..." which is accented in his voice, he doesn't accent it with his actions. that is fine, but i still felt it was a little lacking. perhaps he could have accent it visually with his facial expression a little more. it seems very nonchalant the way it is.

Curtis:

the last little bit is really good. I would have liked to see him move through a few more emotions. He seems very plain right up until the end. There are some great cues in the dialogue for acting.

Ryan Fernan:

The motion is good but the lip sync needs a lot of work.

V_I_C_K_Y:

Really Cool Motion, Shoulder stuff is really GD..Keep up GD work..!

Tim Granberg:

I was feeling kind of confident about my entry this month until I saw yours. My only criticism is the eye lids don't move as much as the eye brows do, so the eyes look a little lifeless and the corners of the mouth seem locked in the downward position.

Srujith kumar Ogirala:

nice

Daniel Erwin:

i feel like the spine is a little stiff. i feel like you could get a subtle arc in the spine on frame 57 to compliment the pose/emotion. i love the end bit from frame 242 on... i still fill like you could get more arcs in the spine like on frame 242 when he's lifting his arm up. .. getting ending pose.. i feel like the desk/table is too high. and its not quite matching the perspective of the background.

Martin Silfvast:

Nice, subtle and clear. Very nice!

Andre de Villiers:

Very cool, very relaxed. solid performance, when he puts his arms on the table - genius! I like it. Could use a bit more energy at "He has a gift!", even if you just pushed that expression a bit further or made him make a fist. Great detail in the fingers by the way, allthough I only spotted it the 2nd time I watched..He looks like an asian guy! Keep up the good work.

Ronny:

Man this one was great I love the blured background, nice solution, poses are great you probably are gonna be one of the finalis, good arm movement

Renato Fochi:

Really good, fluid movements and expressions!
good work!

Noah:

Nice work, particularly on the last phrase. I think there are a few missed opportunities though, in the middle especially, where the audio clearly has some strong operative words (like "GIFT" or "ACKNOWLEDGE") that you don't really punch with the performance.

Barnabas Boehler:

The mouth shapes and overall attitude feel a bit small when he says "He has a gift". I feel this is one of the peaks of the acting intensity and could be pushed a bit more. Plus it's a great area to contrast the really toned down area that comes before it.
However, I think the animation is pretty top-notch and has a lot of nice subtle movements (like in his fingers)--just need to get some high points and accents for contrast.

Leow Chan Ghee:

This is a really nice piece! I really like how he leans on his arm when he says "we'll have something to talk about". It feels real. It would be great if we could see him hitting the accents on 'he has a gift' and 'acknowledge that'. I am also thinking that you could probably dial done the intensity with which he pushes the drawing forward when he says 'then maybe...' Good luck!

Matt Kelly:

nice work.. maybe could have just a little more change of emotion.. love the settle down on the shoulder at the end.. lip sync could use some work

Ryan Chan:

Awesome job. I think some of the facial expressions could be more dynamic and show more emotion. You can hear the change in tone in the dialog, but it could be better represented in the face. You nail it towards the end but everything before that seems a little too subtle or monotone.

Abraham Aguilar:

Great work!

All this needs is another polishing pass on the face.

Andy Hass:

The last 2 or 3 seconds are awesome. The rest is good but the mouth stays too closed to match the dialog.

Mark Homoky:

Nice setting, nice drawing ;-)

Very nicely executed overall and a worthy contender.

Paul Fuller:

The face seems incredibly stiff. I think the best part is the shoulder adjust near the end.

E. Cooman:

Acting is great! Nice work

Brad Bradbury:

I really like the poses at the end. great work.

Antonio Linhares:

Nice shoulder raise at the end.

Brad Regier:

nice poses
good acting.
could be more punchy here and there, e.g., "He" (155)

Chad Swanson:

Good job! i especially like the last part of animation where he puts his arm up on the table.

Frank G:

Nice polish. Well acted. Right arm seemed a bit asleep until lifted on to bench top. Can really feel the pain of self disappointment. Excellent facial expressions. Lovely subtle animating. I hope to get this good with a few year's practice.

James Fearn-Wannan:

When he leans in at the end.. brilliant.
