Rich Lauzon:
Not bad. I personally would not have pointed at the letter .... a bit over explained
shamyl:
smooth movement but a little floaty all round which is a bit distracting... lip syncing needs improvement but overall a good effort
P Walters:
Blocking is pretty good. The timing needs work. "opening someone elses male" and "all done" parts seem the most finished. When he grabs the letter out of his hand, it feels too fast.
Erik Griott:
i noticed the green guys shoulder popping a couple times. i think the overall scene is a little busy, and the black shirt guy actually exits the screen almost entirely. he also doesnt come off as the type of guy who would pull out a knife over a piece of mail.
Frank Collazo:
nice render great idea
Missy Feaster:
A little overacted/overanimated toward the end, to the point that the characters' emotions are occasionally unclear. Good moment at the beginning, though.
Theo Edmands:
Interesting camera angle. The secondary character moves a bit too much.
Salvador García Luque:
The lips doesnt match the words, the animation is very different to the attitud of the character, and movements doesnt match with the moment.
Victor Wong:
A little too wild in the beginning, but movement is synced well.
Matt Bjerk:
movement too spastic
Damodar V Sawant:
too much of movements
vic:
nice sense of acting.. to many poses.. tough to register poses....
Jan Becher:
Very good acting!
Christopher Lutz:
Nice interacting between the characters. Head of the green guy looks a bit jerky in the last part.
Aaron Clement:
Good staging. Lip sync was off. The fast movement at the start was a little distracting.
Dan Dulberger:
The way the black dude is mad at first, goes soft then explodes mad again is odd.
Robert-Jon Eckhardt:
I like how over-exeggerated this is. Great power-shifting also, at the end.
Eric Scheur:
Very nice! I love how lose the characters feel, but still feel like they're flesh and bone. That's tough to pull off, and you've got a really nice sense of weight here! :)
I think that this is a strong piece, especially Green Shirt Guy. Across The Table Guy feels like he could use a little more polish.
In some places, it feels like the characters might be moving a little fast from pose to pose, and that makes them lose a little of their weight, like when he grabs the letter.
Also, watch out for poses like frame 110--it may seem like his arm is only half as long because we don't really see his upper-arm. If you were to look at that in silhouette, you might not know where that arm was.
Overall, though, I really like this piece, and I look forward to seeing more of your entries. :)
Cheers!
Bilal Ahmad:
you could've worked a bit more on the ethical implications part
Taber Dunipace:
The staging is very poor in this piece overall. I NEED to see both character's faces. The black shirted character exits frame once or twice which is very distracting and also has to lean WAY over that table in order to (again without seeming to have cause or reason) pull a knife on his friend. In terms of acting, I NEED to see a thought process or emotional shift indicating a motivation for PULLING A KNIFE on his friend. The second person's reacting to being physically threatened is to just take it with good humored difference? I really don't understand either one of these characters. The animation quality is alright, but leaves a lot to be desired in terms of smooth natural motion.
Gregory Marlow:
Wow. A lot of those poses just dont make a lot of sense to me.
Ryan King:
I think it might be a little too spastic at times. All of the movement seems disorientating. Particularily the head. There is alittle too much whip lash for my tastes. It's relatively clean though.
Chris Smith:
Ok, the last animation I saw was not snappy enough, and this one is TOO snappy. Looks like you tried too hard with the snappy poses.
Study ease in and out, then come back and animate using those priniciples.
srikar:
nice set up!but its a little confusing...think u could slow it down and use a better camera where the poses would read more clearly
Roshan.k:
i like the snappiness..!
Christiaan Moleman:
Watch the IK-hand syndrome. You're pulling the arm straight on "the ethical". Keeping the hand in place here feels very unnatural.
When the guy with his head on his hand moves his head you should move his hand too. These things influence each other. When he pulls his hand away he drops his head, but his neck stays still, as does his body... watch out for this. Give it a marionette feel.
Mike Courtney:
The lip-sync could be improved. The overlap on the head of the guy on the right is a bit much. He is almost a statue at the end.
