Rich Lauzon:

Funny design (as in good) but a wee bit stiff.

P Walters:

You've got a great start, is just needs to be developed more. The step forward is nice. Good blocking, just feels a bit... uh... blocky.

Jett Atwood:

The poses don't seem to have much to do with the line of dialogue. Try acting it out...over and over and over so you know where you want to take the animation.

Dave H Shovlin:

You've got some good acting ideas. Your mechanics need some refinement. Some anticipation, follow-through and stronger motion arcs would give this the flow and emphasis it needs.

Virgil Mihailescu:

some of this animation reads pretty well, but it's incomplete/unpolished, and it's not clear what the idea is... with the 'all done' at the end (it doesn't make much sense).

gerardo:

need more breakdowns and arcs

Missy Feaster:

Watch twinning and some rather cliched actions.

Theo Edmands:

the "wait" take is nice.

Salvador García Luque:

the animation is very nice, except for some details which make it look pretty weird, and not fluid.

Aaron Clement:

I like the ending. It feels as though only half the animation is there... like your at the half way point... just needs more breakdowns... some of the actions, although good, felt late... I like some of your acting choices... The hand movements on 'ethical implications' felt good... but a little late... not bad.

Eric Scheur:

Hi there. :) I like what you've put into this piece. Especially the hand-pounding and the wavy-hands "ethical implications" part.

I think however, on the whole, there are a few too many poses here. Figure out who your character is, and the situation they're in, and then find one or two poses that really describe the scene. It's amazing how long you can hold a pose and keep it interesting.

I think you have good instincts for what makes a compelling pose, so I'd focus on getting one or two to really work for you, and then spend the rest of your time working "within" those poses, adding subtle variations to them so that they still read as a single pose while you're acting. (I hope that makes sense) :)

Good luck! I look forward to your next submission!

Damodar V Sawant:

looks blocking...........

Yeray Díaz Díaz:

The character is too rigid, the poses are too obvious. He goes from one, moves to the other and stops, moves to the other and stops. I think some flow between them is essential.

Christopher Lutz:

Rather stiff body movement.

Bilal Ahmad:

good effort

Alison K. Sanders:

Good idea. You've got some nice poses and gestures in there. I think you could frame the whole thing a bit tighter to make it more intimate.

Gregory Marlow:

Nice character. Needs some more polish though.

Chris Smith:

Not a bad effort - needs to be a little more expressive.
Movements are clear, though.

Taber Dunipace:

Without seeing the other character, I have no idea what the click is in this scene, or to what the character is reacting to. In any good acting scene, I need to see the characters THOUGHTS and EMOTIONS driving their actions.

David Shum:

I see alot of great snips for good acting choices.

Perhaps choosing a pose you want to have more emphasis on, or althering the timing of these poses will give it alot more.

Is this your model? For an animation exercise, I suggest getting a premade model. That way there are less limitations on your animation. You can always build onto your own model, after finding out what works best for you.

Olivier Ladeuix:

i am not sure you would cover your mouth while asking someone to wait unless you are whispering and don't want to be heard by other people.

Victor Wong:

More SI/SO needed in the gestures; lip sync is off by about two frames.

Mike Courtney:

Very little is happening between the poses. The lip-sync is not quite there.

Max Herzfeld:

Looks good but very scripted.
His forward advance throughout the dialogue looks really nice with the contrast of the jump back

Gordana:

Overall you should break the body motions and gestures a bit more. every movement seems to start and end at the same time. The hand on forehead gesture seems a bit too squeeze in there timewise... May work better if you have it happening on "consider" and hold it throughout that beat..

Christiaan Moleman:

I think you need to have a little more follow through and moving holds. Right now it feels very pose to pose.
