Emmanuel:
Nice characters. I like how he grabs him by the throat.
Joseph Leung:
My issue was that the body language/acting was a bit too extreme and the timing of it did not match up with the voice in some parts.
Jeffrey Dekker:
Most of your main actions seem to be a few frames too early.
Chan Ken Neth:
it qould ber perfect, if the 2 gestures for 'espionage and murder' were more on the spot.
Ken Rice:
Good animation - however to me it felt like a little too much twinning going on in there.
Scott Douglas:
The animation is well done, but to me, it's overacted.
Joanne Ku:
Very NicE!!! I love the last party when the guy grabbed his neck!!
Jean-Luc Delhougne:
Very funny cartoony poses. Exagerated but well balanced and working well. Fresh, liked it.
Ryan Lowe:
over the top like mad. but wow, great animation. lip sync lacks that final polish.
Cuby:
Nice stuff. I quite like the comic camera moves.
I feel that the guy on the right has his emphasis motions with his hands are a bit off and seem to distract from what he's saying rather that emphasising it. Nice expressions as well.
M.Bell:
My biggest criticism of this piece would be that you're using way too much gesture and unnecessary movement in it. Youre basically emphasising EVERY part of the dialogue, instead of choosing to play certain bits up over others. There's no rhythm or contrast. I suggest try adding you try taking it down a peg or two and only using certain gestures where you really need them or were they seem to fit. Your animation side of this is good, but could be made better if your characters werent so over the top the whole time.
Russell:
I think removing the camera move will help this piece. It is too subtle to help, but apparent enough to distract.
Sometimes they feel a bit stiff on their held poses.
Other than that, good job! Overlap is nice, acting is solid, both characters have distinct personalities.
Tom Law:
Excellent work, the facial work is top notch.
Andy Cunial:
very funny ending.
Ceno:
no stress man heheh
Virgil Tanasa:
pretty cool, maybe the ending is too wild? camera and animation wise, maybe you could tone it down just a little? i mean, keeping the gesture, because i think it does work well, but maybe not so wild :)
overall i really like it, but the ending spoils the pleasure :)
great work, a really nice piece.
Victor Wong:
Watch out for sizing in the last part of the sequence.
Erik Westlund:
Wow. Cool setup. Lets you shake a character around by the neck. The first lines spoke by screen right character are performed as if he is dancing. Smack on the back of the head would read better by pushing the pained reaction for screen right character. That slappy move into the final pose is funny, but doesn't match the attitude and reality of a man who can and will forcefully wring another man's neck.
Ezra Allen:
Love the neck grab nice work.
Jon Graef:
It definitely has the 2D cartoon feel to it which is so much harder to pull off with 3D characters. Nice work.
Micah Betts:
I think this started off very good but then the animation got too busy and exaggerated toward the end.
Romain Digonnet:
Very nice animation and good acting choices.
Such a shame that from "now that we're" to "and murder" the acting and lipsinc are off
Taber Dunipace:
Too much action, simplify or remove some motions to clear up the scene.
Avner Engel:
Nice use of squash and stretch there!
Lisa Taylor:
Some really nice poses in there. I think your timing is a little off in poarts though, which is a real shame because other than that it's really great.
jonas bech:
i love it
Natascha Evans:
I wish the camera angle was different or the character in the blue top was moved over so i could see the dead body.
There are frames at the beginning when the guy speaking doesnt move.....it makes it look like they start to scene for us, versus us coming into something already in progress.
When guy with Green shirt hits the other guy it looks like there is some spacing issues. How far back behind him is he? because later he come in front of him and he gets much bigger. Also when he hits him it doesnt feel like there is any contact. and the reaction on the blue guy could be on his head or something and move that first etc.
When Green shirt is walking around frame 229 the arms screen left arm is into his body so much the silhouette is not as nice. I would pull is out a little
when he hits him and when he is walking up to him , he doesn't look like he is looking at him, so you have to fix the eyeline there. and the arc on the hit needs a little smoothing still
Nice cartoony feeling , nice work!
miles southan:
Really good work. I think your spacing could use some finesse though, especially easing out of some of your gestures that right now hit a wall (mainly on "Now" and "with what?"). Also, watch your lip synch. I think you also have one or two too many ideas happening at the end there.
Ken Vass:
TWINNING!...but otherwise great
jeff:
good job
