J K:

Very Cute.
The top of the Birds beak and his head in general seem too static.

Kent Wong:

So cute! Makes me laugh. Love it. Animation is great too! Cool! Just lovely!

Kenny:

Great looking characters! could have zoomed in a little more so we can see the crab better. good expressions on the birds face while the crab is talking. winner winner chicken dinner!

Jeffrey Dekker:

cool models, i think the camera could have been closer

Jean-Luc Delhougne:

Characters are very appealing and the overall animation is very good with nice subtle moves. The lipsynch is a bit poor though, and the cam a bit far to judge it better ;)

Ryan Lowe:

awesome characters. animation needs work.

Jon Houston:

Still stiff

Mike DeGar:

The crab is very small, perhaps if you had cut to a closer view of when he spoke. I really like that you used unique characetrs. Good job :)

Daniel Harris:

Wow, cool characters. I really like the animation on your little crab! The bird seems like it needs more work to be kept alive (perhaps you don't notice it on the crab because he's a little crustatiaus creature?), but I felt like the bird needed softer settles and some motion to keep him from freezing. I would have really liked to see the character bigger in frame too, maybe you could have considered cutting some of this up with an over the shoulder shot?

Very much enjoyed, thank you!

M.Bell:

Great characters. I love the crab.

Andy Wakeley:

I really like this one, interesting characters and entertaining action - some cleanup on the motion could be used, moving holds and such, but a great piece, good work!

Erik Westlund:

A very playful spin using some unique characters. Very Nemo-ish in design. Love the crab. Great squash and stretch effect on the fish. Claw grab and toss of fish is solid. What's with the 'hair trapped in projector effect'? Not including that choice in my grading. The staging is very wide leaving out lots of details in the performances, especially the crab. The crab is the most authentic and convincing. Love his quick moves and staccato walk. He seems worried/paranoid and this reads in his movements throughout. The pelican is less convincing. He is a glutton... no, wait... ah... he is thin skinned and easily offended... yeah but, he speaks in cold hard facts.... wait? Who is he?! I can't tell. The crab performance is in an entirely different league from the pelican. Entirely. Both characters have a strong use of line of action that reverses. The mask being torn off is well crafted technically but lacks adequate anticipation to be readable. My god, what greatness you will are capable of when all these parts and pieces get pulled together in one seamless performance.

Andy Cunial:

you have some very clear key poses, but the holds seem to last too long.

John T. Coomey:

I think maybe a few different shots are needed for this.. Ath the moment the shot you have is very unappealling with alot of dead screen space and is at a really boring camera angle.. If you put in a few different shots it would really strengthen this piece

Taber Dunipace:

Great stuff. I think we need some sort of camera cut to see the details of what's going on. It's hard to tell the crab is walking and not sliding and I totally missed the mask on the pelican the first time.
Also I don't see any facial expressions or strong body language.

Justin Weg:

Great characters!

Russell:

I think the pelican should be putting more effort into swallowing and chewing the fish at the beginning. Those animals really flick their neck when eating.

Frames 45-49 have the pelicans body completely static. He should be resisting or reacting to something, not holding against the motion.

Nice work!

Joshua:

I really like the character designs here but their expressions could be a bit broader

Srikanth:

awesome characters

Victor Wong:

Excellent lip-sync and gesturing from the bird.

lizzie:

lovely movements and acting

Andrew Linke:

love the characters, and the design

Ezra Allen:

camera needs to be closer in, maybe have this long shot as the first shot then cut to close ups to show off your animation better.

The crab looks like hes sliding because i cant see hi legs.

Matt Garward:

Really nice work!

Kevin:

crab needs more acting during "all the more reason..." line

Alonso Soriano:

too still, good that it doesn't distract from the player who's talking, but need some life in there. don't feel like they were doing something before the screen turns on, or they are going to go on and do something when it turns off

Lauren Andersson:

haha!

RJay Bengelink:

I like the idea. Characters are nice also. Need more out of the crab.

Phillip Johnson:

Really liked the crabs movements, smooth and flowing. One thing that bothers me about the bird is when the fish is pulled and he moves forward his feet look like they are cemented down and his tail crashes.
Well done overall tho

barak drori:

great characters, big challange there!

Mike York:

Nice Concept!

padraig post:

Ha HA, Liked it.

Brian Boswell:

The bird needs some kind of ambient motion during his long holds, but mostly very nice.

gerardo castellanos:

nice characters!.. very funny

sharad kumar:

great stuff!

Jason Smith:

This piece is wonderfully put together, I love these characters! Awesome job!

Senthilnathan D:

wow , this is too good...

Doug:

nice idea... animation is fairly good, the crabs stop and turn has some nice stuff in the face/eyes. but then the crabs acting of the next few lines uses the same gesture 3 times in a row. could use some more thinking there
