J K:

very posey .. smooth it out some and you stylin.

Zainab Siddiqui:

Good piece, I'd sugest a bit of secondary action though

Scott Douglas:

The timing is good but they feel very pose-to-pose. There seem to be no moving holds at all.
Overall the poses are nice, and subtle.

Jean-Luc Delhougne:

Not bad, maybe too "pose to pose", it's not very fluid. But it's not far from being really good.Add some subtle moves and it could be a nice realistic animation.

Julianne McCartney:

the lipsync was too slight. I'd like to see more extreme poses. The animation was good, it just needs to be taken to another level.

Mariah:

Good poses, but between the poses they feel too static.

Russell:

Smooth out the lip sync just a bit. The mouth shape tangents seem like they are linear, which can work, but since the characters movements are subtle, the mouths should match the those movements.

Watch out for complete holds in 3d. 3d holds read as unrealistic, because 3d animation has the stigma of being "real".

Both the characters seem really stiff. Loosen up those spines and shoulders! It will give them more life.

Good job!

Andy Wakeley:

Really nice poses and acting choices, the timing between them is good too. I particularly like the flick of the spoon (?) in the cup for the sound in the audio. Just needs cleaning up on the spacing, overlaps etc and it'll be a great piece.

Taber Dunipace:

A nice competent acting job but the animation feel stilted and lifeless. They move so little in frame that the motions need to be more interesting to compensate. Strong overall.

James O'Neill:

I feel the characters are underacted for the dialogue. There does not seem to be much contrast between poses. There are a few too long holds, with no settling motion. There is some good overlap though. Watch out for twinning. Try smoothing out the mouth shapes, they seem too blocked out.

Atle Hillmann:

Great poses, but too little movment, try using abit more moving holds

Erik Westlund:

Hunched over poses are too similar between characters. Lip-sync is well timed but facial animation is lacking variety. Eyebrows are flat shapes that slide instead of bending with shape change in face underneath. Acting choices are believable and convincing. Some reversals present, especially for screen left character (cup), but performance lacks adequate appeal for the reasons stated above.

sean connolly:

the acting is really nice. it might help to offset the movements a little. so when there head moves the hand can move a couple frames behind (as oppose to the same time).

Dan Dulberger:

This could've been pretty goof if the charatrers didn't freeze for 3 seconds inbetween their own lines. Heads especially could move more frequently/constantly.

Alexis St-Laurent:

I realy like you scene. The characters are nice and we clearly see in each of they're faces what they feel. The only thing I would comment is the fact that they move the whole body at the same time. When they go from one pose to the other, everything starts and stops moving at the same time. If you could break it down a bit, you could win.

Lisa Taylor:

Try adding a little more subtle movement. It looks a bit pose to pose at the moment. Some of the poses are really nice though, well done.

Natascha Evans:

I like this a lot.
I think the first movement on the guy turned away could be a little more interesting. First off he doesn't move for about 29 frames. In those frames you could make him looking around afraid ( subtlely) or put a moving hold. Maybe this is a quicktime issues of the upload? WHen he turns I would overlap his head, should and spine more

The second guy's pose with the cup is good but i would lower it a little to get clear his mouth.

I would like to see the main guy ( screen right) hand move at a few frames after because it synchs with the movement of the spoon cup.

When the other guy says Murder you can emphasize it with the eyes more.

Also you are hardly using your shoulders.

Micah Betts:

Work on the moving holds a bit. I think the poses are good but the transition to each one seems a bit mechanical.

Bill:

I really liked the understatement of this one. Sometimes little moves work better than big, cartoony moves.

Christopher Salamat:

may be too subtle for the type of voice acting.

Jon:

Good timing I just think you could emphisize some of the louder emotional words with more movement.

Matt Tomlinson:

great, believable gestures. very natural.
