Sean Coleman:

Beautiful blocking you have here. Very nice. Maybe a little more pushing of the bupkiss pose. Feels a little week for the dialogue

James Wilson:

great. its a shame you could finish it in time. you have pulled some nice shapes in there

bet it will look great when you finish it.

maybe that last pose is a little too angry.

and where can you get that rig from?

Chan Ken Neth:

its a pity, but this could be a great piece once it splined out and tweaked. but nonetheless, with this kind of blocking, its no doubt u have experience!

Gregory Marlow:

Looks like it has some possibilities. Still seems unrefined and a lot of stuff freezes in spots.

Ken Rice:

Pretty good idea but without having a background the walking isn't too convincing. Characters frozen a little too much in places: needs moving holds. The characters behavior is too similar.

Jean-Luc Delhougne:

Toooo bad it's still looking like it's in blocking phase, stepped curves. The poses, timing, etc...Are extremely appealing !

Ryan Lowe:

hahaha. love the "p" phenome!

Jon Houston:

Very stiff, looks like just keys

Mike DeGar:

The guy on the rights head doesnt move when hes walking away from the guy on the left. Other then that looks good.

Chris Bennett:

very nice blocking!!

Virgil Tanasa:

looks unfinished... good potential, but unfinished. hope that you can find some more time to polish this one, it could look much better.

eejun:

looks good but its not done?

Jonathan Wondrusch:

this'll be great when finished. Good job!

Cuby:

Facial expressions are excellent. It's a shame you didn't get time to finish up with the rest of the body movement.

wei keong:

I think the camera move is unnecessary. But I like the idea of havinga cigar as a tool of shifting the focus.

Slobodan Danilovic:

This looks more like a stop motion animation, nice poses, pretty nice timing also, but the character in the background is froozen and the overall animation is not fluent at all

Joseph Leung:

Hehe, I thought this was a creative presentation. I wish I could see a more finished product. The guys hand with the lighter shouldn't be still for that long.

Koty Juliano:

good start.

Patrick Chin:

shame you didn't finish this. Lot of potential. Even in this rough stage there seems to be missing contrast between the 2 characters.

sean connolly:

i really like the facial expressions. the cigar was a great prop too.

lizzie:

nice start.

Leon Gittens:

nice set up , but i would watch the character on the screen left as he stays in the same pose for the duration of the piece . May be when he starts talking he walks towards camera, expressing his point. Also the first pose, the character on the screen right is a little uncomfortable. but one of the better ideas i,ve seen so far good job

Marco Palmieri:

could become a good animation. need to get some eye contact at the beginning on the grab. 20%there.....

Traci Plagmann:

You have some nice facial poses in here. It has a jittery feel to it. Maybe that's a stylistic choice though?

Russell:

It feels unfinished. Smooth out the tangents and work with them to get your piece show ready. Its a good idea and seems like a good start. But work out the kinks before presenting.

JD van der Merwe:

Needs finishing.

Doug:

I would love to see this finished, you've got a brilliant start here. The expressions are spot on and the exchange of the cigar is a nice movement. I hope you keep going with it.

Nanda van Dijk:

to bad it is'nt finneshed... i realy like the facial expressions

Jeremie Rosner:

even if it's still a bit rough you have some very strong poses and the lipsynch with cigar between the teeth works perfect!
Great job... keep it up!

Ezra Allen:

looks like it would have been nice if you had got it passed the stepped keys stage.

One thing with your blocking they seem to have a very similar character I would try and differentiate between the too a bit more. They both seem like they are trying to be Dirty Harry

Romain Digonnet:

Not too bad for a first outline.
But still just a first outline...

Lisa Taylor:

You've got a lot of character in there, well done.

Ian:

I like the expressions you get out of these characters, but obviously a little more animation is needed

Bill:

The camera dolly (as the character to screen right walks forward) was a little hard to read without a background, but I applaud you for trying out interesting staging ideas. I know this is just blocking, but I'd rather see good blocking than a fully polished piece with mediocre blocking. If this were taken all the way through to polish, I think it would be one of my favorites for this month.

Richard Clark:

Great start. Looks like you just need to finish it.

Dave Yun:

The poses are too symmetry right now. The personality of the characters need some work. Also, the arcs on the arm need some tweaking

Phillip Johnson:

This is really good even though some of it is still in stepped keys.
I like the timing and facial expressions.

Taber Dunipace:

Need better facial expressions and body language to understand what each character is thinking and feeling.
I get the first part, but isn't that guy going to be miffed that the second guy stole his cigar?

RJay Bengelink:

Wish you hadn't run out of time to do the tweens. enjoyed the camera follow.

Erik Westlund:

Intriguing. What would this have been if taken further? Nice blocking.

Mark Kennedy:

I know I don't have enough time to enter 11 second club. So it is great to see someone put in a really strong blocking pass rather than a not so great 1st pass. I think that you should finish this off and post it in the forums later. I know I would like to see it finished. Keep up the good work, and make sure you keep the crispness of the blocking pass when you spline it.

Daniel Harris:

Very cool man, love the facial expressions. Very strong!

I would have gone for a larger gesture when the guy on the left starts his second line of dialogue, I think as the guy on the right is bigger in frame and swaying he keeps pulling my focus when I should be looking at the guy on the left talking.

Very nice, keep it up :-)

cristinel bostan:

the fact that the chick puffs for every M,B,P is just too much.
The fingers against the forehead is again an over used gesture.Already a clishe.

Other than that...I would really wanna see this anim in a final shape.

Steve Brown:

Great block.. Id like to see the finished thing though? Nice job!

jeff karagianis:

its a pity this is not finished, the facial expressions look really good, im not sure about the camera zooming out with the guy in the foreground though, and even though the facial animation looks good maybe leave that till last

chloé:

not finish.

Sarah Ricketts:

I love the expressions you've got on the 2nd guys face, they're great!

Elisa:

looks nice!
It's not fully animated, but I can see the reactions.
thumbs up there

James O'Neill:

I would suggest smoothing out the tangents. That will help the fluidity of movement.

sharad kumar:

i guess its incomplete.....it will surely look gud when its done!

Jason Smith:

Great prop use with the cigar. The motion seems a bit blocked.... if you're not finished you should finish it, cause this is a great piece!
