Description: Thanks for watching this animation. I have much more polishing to do, but you know what they say: "Shots are never finished, they are just taken away from you." I can use some comments on polish. It will be very much appreciated. Thanks!

Michel Giguère:

Very good animating. Good rythm.Sharp camera move when the guy turns, actually all the "cut a deal" passage is very well done.

Jean-Luc Delhougne:

Some very nice poses there.
The feet are maybe a bit still, you could use a bit more weight balance in the first part. The cut on "with what" feels a bit unnatural to me. Overall really nice animation ;)

Mike DeGar:

Goof job. ONe thing that I noticed is that when hat guy turns around his hand remains on his hip, that didnt seem to natural to me. BUt other then that, good job.

Emmanuel:

The lip sync in the beginning for both characters seem to be off

Sandy Sze:

Good acting, timing is good. However you may wanna improve your lip syncing. It should be as snappy as your acting and try to close the mouth or even hold close for 2 frames so the audience can actually read it. good work

David Walz:

that's sexy

ryan Sowiak:

I love the pose when he says "NOW" really good stuff!

Daniel Huertas:

nice job!... I would have another pass on the lipsync.. cuz it seems a little bit off... and the pose for "murder" was too broad for my taste.. also some moving holds were too tight.. i mean.. it looked like they just stopped in place... but very nice work overall :)

Joseph Leung:

I really felt this piece was good but the lip sync was a bit off. I liked the character acting and posing was good to me. If the lip sync was better, it would have been really good.

Ryan Lowe:

this kept looking like it was going to do it...but then.

Ambuj:

i think the words are a bit unreadable. Nice!!

Slobodan Danilovic:

lipsync is flowing 2much

Virgil Tanasa:

apart from some jerkiness at the end, i think this may be the best one i've seen so far. :)
congratulations!

Ken Rice:

Very good animation - lip sync felt a little though.

Russell:

You cut on the anticipation on frame 140, but I think you should cut on the swing of the head as he is turning around. Cutting on anticipation totally spoils the anticipation itself because you are building up a characters movement to get into the next pose. If you cut during the climax of buildup, it takes away from the buildup entirely.

The soft accents and secondary action suffer on quick movements. If a hand swings around quickly, it is going to take some motion to settle it back to its pose. (Frame 146)

The lip sync doesn't close on PMB enough. Those sounds should have at least 2 to 3 frames to show the sound. Its very important that the closed mouth shapes have time to read, otherwise the lip sync feels soft and not quite on.

Taber Dunipace:

Very nice! Good variations of speed and attitude. Generally strong attitudes and facial expressions. Pleasing motion and gestures. The "Now" gesture seemed out of place to me, and it was also odd that the hatted man didn't seem to hear the second guy's first sentence. Also odd was the fact that the hatted man's hand seemed glued to his side at first. Very strong, great work!

Erik Westlund:

Nice contrast between characters from the beginning. I love the 'press in' on "...cut a deal". Nice texture between that and the pose before with that head and finger shake on "NOW". Anticipations appear to be a bit rushed and mechanical; for instance screen left character anticipates into "murder" with head dipping down fast and hard. Also, screen right character pulls right hand across body in anticipation to turning towards us (around frame 150). Its fast, hard, and a little mechanical. Lands on a great pose 'though. Nice, abstract shape on frame 151, great flow to character on left. Lip-sync lacks punch and energy of poses, some timing issues still. Performance looses 'umph' in last shot. Intensity of words "What?" and "bupkis" not reflected in movement or pose. You missed an opportunity for the conversation to be "pushed" back at character with hat.

Justin Weg:

Great job Jeff. I really like what you did with this. My only comment would be that when he swings his screen left arm around in the 2nd shot, it could be kept a live a bit more. It looks a bit too frozen for my tastes. I really like how the guy in the chair backs up when the other guy comes in close to him. Nice detail on the fingers placed on the table and awesome use of stretch on the head. Good job!

Joshua:

Wonderful expressions! One of the best I have seen.

Traci Plagmann:

Really nice job. I think some of the lipsync could be a little sharper but that's all I can see to suggest. Great piece!

cristinel bostan:

Good work,just too much overacted.

Romain Digonnet:

I really like the "konw so we...." acting choice

Sam Caudill:

Really great lead into the 2nd camera shot. Guy in the hat seems a little static during the first shot, but that's only a nit-picky critique. Really great job!

Joan Delmont:

Very good! It's seems to me moves of the seated guy on " now we are ... and murder " are to regular : tac tac tac and tac...

Avner Engel:

I like the dismissive pose at the end when he says Bupkis, however I am not too sure about the now pose. Well done though, you manage to maintain the energy well.

Helen Cranston:

Love the pose on "NOW!" really strong

Aaron Jonas:

Nice! Good action

Bill:

There is some great stuff here. The pose on "[...ourselves in] NOW..." seemed a bit theatrical at that moment for this scene (although it is a nice pose). The bit just after that is terriffic. Lip sync needs work in some places.

Jack Vandenbroele:

This is really brilliant! I just love the animation on the character with the hat, flawless to me. Amazing, in fact, so stille and expressive, I love it!

A little less fond of the camera choices - the passage between before and after the character with the hat looks akward.

And the hands of the character on the right fall very fast at the very end.

I still love it :)

Chelsea Hiatt Farley:

Great poses in there!

James O'Neill:

Tighten up the lip sync, but overall it was good. Nice poses.

Jason Smith:

Great pose on the 'NOW'! Nice work.
