Nice animation quality but it ends too soon. He doesn't have time to react to her comment, which was set up as being the main entertainment here.

Nice control of facial animation, especially with the female character. Good, solid, mechanics with lifting the box lid and pushing the box. Her look forward while speaking to him is very effective. His reactions are less convincing. He seems interested in her/her reaction and then distracted by his own thoughts... whatever they may be. You seem to identify with her point of view. Good stuff. Male character performance is not in the same league.

I like the relationship between these two. There is clear understanding in her eyes and reactions to his gift. I'm not sure what he's doing while she's replying. He looks around while she's talking to him which pulls me out of the scene. If you kept him focused on her that would help maintain his hopes focus and ours as an audience.
