I like it... i would have worked a little bit more the lipsync on the old lady... and some poses stoped in place to fast.. i think it would need to work more on your eases and settles.. and this would have been perfect ;) nice job!
Aja Bogdanoff:
I like the performances a lot, but overall it still needs a lot of polish: the lipsync needs about 2x more phonemes to define the words they're speaking, and I'm seeing a lot of IK pops in the knees/elbows. Still though, the performances are solid, you've made some great acting choices, and there's a lot of nice little accents that bring the characters to life. If you can continue to polish this one up, I think it'd be a nice addition to a reel. :)
luc:
Like it very much. My 2 cents comment will have his anticipation(around frame 30) not so pronounced. Like to see her eyes frame 110 leading into shot ahead of head turn.
NICK D:
A little over animated on the "merry christmas". But the rest looked great
Will Mann:
Good job with the attitude of the old lady but the lip sync at the end seems a little off.
Lauren Andersson:
nice acting
Ken Rice:
Nice detailed work - however the male's facial expression on the word 'yes' seems wrong to me.
Tim Nowak:
Smooth. I like how Mrs.Munchnick actually shows how she knows its the same one.
Tyson Ibele:
Hahahahah ....I love the jowls you added to the old woman :D
Very nice acting...lip sync was a little floaty though...try to really hit those syllabals.
Steve Clarke:
I like this a lot. Both have great character and expressions. The lip synching on the lady at the end is a bit weak but otherwise one of the best so far.
lizbeth:
She should probably notice the cake first or look at him before she moves to talk to him, especially since she's already comfortable reading. Her thought process there needs to be clearer.
Erik Westlund:
Good distinction between characters based on movement and posing. Clear line of action, flow lines, etc. Female character is very convincing. Anticipation into presenting the cake is way too big... beautifully executed but out of step with narrative. This starts as if we hear the director say, "Action!" This needs more continuation from whatever was happening before. I like the pained smile after he says "yesss... ". Eye movement and and final accent on female character are working.
Avner Engel:
Awesome! This is a very well thought animation with terrific subtleties, arcs, solid poses and great appeal. Well done!
Emmanuel Vergne:
i don't like the pose when he says "yes". Maybe he could have stayed in the same pose than before but with a little (and more subtle) gesture instead of a big and broad movement.
The acting on the old lady is good, but there is a weird deformation on her head just after "fruit cake"
Markus Kallio:
transition from "yess" to smile is bit stiff, other vice great work :)
Frank G:
Good acting. Nice build into "Merry Christmas". Opening shot has a bit too much space on the left of screen. I was a bit nervous about MrsM pulling a Basic Instinct move. Nah, kidding. Good work.

critique:
maybe you can have him hold the cake longer next the lady so she can see it and make her judgement on it and then he moves away?
Sunny Kharbanda:
Nice poses.. The timing looks like it needs polishing though.
Taber Dunipace:
Ends too soon. We need to see his reaction. Good animation quality and very nice acting at the beginning, but it falls flat at the end.
chia:
It one of the good one so far. but the female eye seems like moving too much without a strong direction. from frame 50 to 70.But over all is good.
jst my thought.

Justin Weg:
Really nice job. I think that she could of looked at it a bit earlier before she says 'a fruit cake?' So you have a look, then a beat and then her line. Right now she notices it a bit late and says the line as she sees it, so I think you could of gave her more time to think. Also the lipsync on her last line could be a bit better on the "Remarkably like the one I gave you last year". Nice job!
HARISH:
good one !!!
Cameron Huber:
I love his awkward pause at the beginning where you can tell he's forcing these words and really doesn't want to be there Her lack of interest compared to his nervousness balances nicely. Well done!
Sachin:
very nice animation.....i felt like u can work on lipsync little more.....
sharad kumar:
i think she says 'fruit cake' even before properly looking at the cake...check that up...and the take a bit too much antic before giving the cake..a subtle antic could've done the job...good work though.
Yeray Díaz Díaz:
Nice! love the leg crossing on the lady, very subtle and expressive. I think you missed an oportunity on the "yes" with the male character to add a some reaction or expression.
Motionwise is tight and flows really well. The lipsync, specially on the lady, could use some work.
Great job!
Ramit Batra:
Nice snappy animation. Could have used some moving holds :)
Jason Smith:
Great facial expressions, and timing.
Ian Johnston:
All in all, this feels like a nice piece. There is some good anticipation in his movement and I like the timing when she puts the book down and turns. I would like to see her react to his line a little earlier. It might have a stronger sense of relationship and timing if she looks at him through the top of her glasses at the end of his line, and hold that pose, taking advantage of that meaty beat before she turns to let him know how it is. This will help us keep focus on him until she is ready to let her presence be known. The focus is a little blurred right now at that moment. I really like how she feels uninterested in his gift. At the end of her line of "fruitcake", there is a weird squash / movement on her head that feels a little odd. You have an opportunity on "yesss. . . " to add a slight moving hold. He feels a little stiff when he stands up. He feels like his body locks up unnaturally. There is also an opportunity to take a second after her line to have him react after she's finished talking instead of ending the action right at the end of the clip. The end feels just a tad abrupt. Other than that, these are just suggestions / ideas to maybe help. Overall I really liked it!
Aaron Clement:
The decoration is good. I'm not sure the camera cuts were necessary. I found it more a distraction than anything. Some good strong expressions on the characters. The green guy needs more natural looking skin in my opinion. Could be simplified more for appeal. Some good poses in there... Had some good bits, but didn't quite jell as a whole for me.
Dan Harriman:
Maybe the green guy's motions are a bit over the top for my tastes, but otherwise this is a pleasure to watch.
Jon:
nice poses well done
Kat Curry:
nice acting choices...lip-synch seems a bit off. i also think Mrs M's weight shift in the chair looks kinda choppy...and I can't tell quite HOW she's moving her butt across the chair...maybe have her lean much more on her right hand and push herself up a bit. hope that makes sense. there's also some popping in her fingers (f102). nice facial expressions and squash/stretch.
lizzie:
lip sync needs some work and finisjing touches to the animation
David Andrade:
Haha!
I love her. Excellent stuff. I still feel its too pose to pose. Your silhouettes are clean, and your characters make sense. But it feels posey in the way you don't have much follow through etc.
176: he should slowly drift back just a bit after a big movement like that.
I think her atins is great though. The animation could be polished. It's almost there!
Brad Regier:
i love his smile after yes.
Maybe more work on her weight / followthru when she finishes crossing her legs.
Really nice piece.

Traci Plagmann:
This looks really good. I like their gestures a lot - especially her foot tapping and setting the book down and uncrossing and crossing her legs. Very nice. My only, only suggestion is that his facial expressions freeze after he says yes and then on the smile right after. Maybe get a little settle into those. Really nice piece!
doc:
this one is really good.
the lady's month is not match that well. but i can live with it.
selvaraj:
good animation
Dave H Shovlin:
You mentor kids with your fancy rigs. Very nice.
Jarno Cordia:
The animation doesnt feel like one smooth animation, but rather blocked segments of dialog.
Jesse Baumgartner:
Nice poses. Mrs. Munchnik's lip sync is a little soft and undefinded, but overall. nice work.
Julianne McCartney:
This has the best expression I've seen so far. I love the expression on the woman's face when she says "a fruitcake?" and the man's expression when he replies "yesss". Good interpretation.
