Federico Abib:

Good character my friend! it may have a good facial rig! Congratulations!

Tyson Ibele:

I think that's an interesting character you have, but I found the initial facial expressions (where he's showing all of his teeth) to be very creepy. I'd suggest not showing so much upper gums in order to have the character read a little better. Nice animation otherwise.

Ken Rice:

Nice rig but I would like to have seen more going on.

Anton de la Campa:

facial acting at the beginning of the shout needs a bit more -- mostly with lip-sync, but after the smile i _really_ like the facials going on! they look very natural and convincing! good job!

Emmanuel Vergne:

make your character blink more than twice and have more life in his eyes (more movement in his pupils).
I like the head movement when he says "yes"
Try to play more with the shoulders (when he lift the cake and to emphasize so words)

Sunny Kharbanda:

His lipsync and facial expressions in the first line need some work.

Taber Dunipace:

Ends too soon. Interesting choice but to make this shot work, we'd need more attention given to his face, making him seem like he's reacting to her.

Tim Nowak:

Someone can't smile! I like how you used a realistic animation. it looks real. But it doesnt tell me anything.

Frank G:

Nicely framed. Excellent brick of a cake. Most polished award winner. Compliments to the orthodontist.

sharad kumar:

is it a toothpaste ad!(joke)...anyways u could've shown his reaction in the end....and we missed Mrs munchnik!

Erik Westlund:

Just like the narrative in the performance, the character becomes more believable after he stops trying so hard. Relaxed poses, slight head turn, and contemplative eye darts after hearing "A fruitcake?" are very believable. Very strong. The stiff, over extended expression in the beginning is too fake, just a little closer to realistic, slightly closer to what follows, would make the beginning work.

Diana Gueorguieva:

Nicely done. However, i think you should've work a bit more on the facial expressions as the focus is on the upper part of the character's body. Otherwise, well done. keep up the good work.

Katy Lambourne:

I really like his subtle reactions to what she's saying - that really carries the sequence for me. He really looks like he's taking in what she's saying. I especially like your take on the '...yes'. The action and lip sync fits perfectly - the last reaction however i feel came a little too fast.

Muhammad Azhari:

Nice model and texture. Need explore facial expression exchange, and body language.

Mat Brady:

Nice subtleties here. Don't think they were lost on us, nor unappreciated. Good work. Could have been a tad more expressive though.

Matt Kenley:

whats with the SCARY smile he gives us.

lizzie:

oh i loved this but it needs an extra bit on the end just to finish it off nicely. nice expressions though and subtle animation. lip sync seems a little off?

jonathan topf:

the first 'snarl' ruined some pretty good animation. I think for one it was to early and could have benifitted from being a bit lop sided. cool model tho

Dan Dulberger:

Animation was so so. Since it's probably your own character I wanted to add that I felt the ears were disturbingly big to the extent that I focused on them rather than the face and eyes of the character.

Peter Carisi - de Lappe:

Nice eye work! Needs a little more of it, but it's way better than any other facial I've seen here recently.

Marco Roberts:

Its good but a bit blank and not much happens in the animation

Aaron Clement:

I loved his expression around 'yes'. It felt really natural. You need to animated the eyes more, though. They felt expressionless at the beginning. Good job with the natural feel to the clip all the same.

Joe Jacob:

Could've used a bit more facial exaggeration. Especially with only one character.

Steve:

wish there was more of an expression in the punchline, instead of trailing off. but the rest is really great!

Dan Weiland:

Good! I like the subtlety in there. Well executed.

Yeray Díaz Díaz:

Not bad, you do have nice eye movements suggesting thought but I'd like to see more expression more movement and more drastic changes, i.e. more posing. Maybe you wanted to focus on facial animation but the clip right now is a little dull.

cristis:

I like your idea showing the man's part, because, i think, this is all about it...man's acting. I don't like the teeth expresion, it's exagerate.

Imus zai:

love the expressions but the guy needs to be disappointed after she say's 'last year'

Michael Richard:

Oh this could be SO much better with the brows and face pushed more. When thinking of the body tweened, this also applies to the face. Don't mirror the face's parts. But great potential and nice subtle acting.

gerardo castellanos:

nice facial work

Lindsay Thompson:

This is so odd looking...in a good way. I really love that smile he makes. I can't stop looking at it....

Chris Niewinski:

Funny expression in the beginning. Woulda loved to see more of it through the end.

Brad Regier:

i like his insincere smile

doc:

great face movements

Jason Smith:

The smile when he's presenting the fruitcake reminds me of Jerry Seinfeld. Nice facial work!

Derek Mabson:

Nice facial expressions. I almost would like to see some hand gesticulation with one of the hands. Very nice.

Adam Green:

I think your "Yes" read is pretty solid. However, I think your lip synch at the beginning needs tightening up, and the smile, though I get what you're trying to do, is a little too cranked up and a bit unappealing. Some of the eye moves look a bit mechanical, especially the blink. Try offsetting the lids and adding some cushion. Same goes for the entire face--just take a look at your curves and look for better ways to ease in and ease out. I like how you offset the cheeks from the eyes and the eyebrows on the reaction after she says "fruitcake."

Watch the spacing and arc on the head on "yes". I think it can be a teeny tiny bit less sharp.

Also, at the beginning, the box kind of freezes for a few frames when he raises it up. Try for a more realistic settle at the top of the move (or maybe just check that your tangents don't completely flatten), and some subtle finger movements to keep him alive and not computery. Overall, good job on this. This is one of the ones I think has a lot of potential, which is why Im picking on it :P

mohinder kaur:

Love that grin!

Dan Harriman:

from 145 this really hits its stride. Is he trying to smile when he offers the cake? And a bit more of a reaction at the end might be better. Other than that I really like this one. You can tell what He's thinking.

Ben Hammersley:

i like the detailed facial blends, really added to the character, i thought they were used well.

Chris Welsby:

This is almost there. I think there are a couple of things that could really improve it though. After he says "merry christmas misses muchnick" to me the hold feels a bit to static, I would maybe break it up with another little gesture of him pushing the present in her direction a little. Then at the end it would be nice to see more of a reaction, either of suprise or guilt, whatever one you prefer.
