Lauren Andersson:

i like the wink!

Will Mann:

Love the wink.

Tyson Ibele:

Lol@the ending....hehe

Overall the animation was OK...was a little still though. When you're using IK for the arms, also try to make sure that the elbow doesn't bend unnaturally....at around from 20-30 it bends rather oddly.

Tim Nowak:

HA!. I like it. good plot. I like how she threw the cake behind her. But its a little slow and could use some speed.

Emmanuel:

Nice ending. :)

Steve Clarke:

I like the majority of this but found her movements just before she says "remarkably" etc a bit weird. Its like her head drifts to the side and makes her less believable.

lizbeth:

Two things:
1) I didn't read what the guy was doing when he said "yes" until I watched it again. I think he should probably say yes to her and then turn to us later because we're already engaged in the interaction between them
2) I think she would need to have some reaction before she says "remarkably like the one....". I think you're trying to do it with her head tilt, but it's confusing because she doesn't hold it before she says her line.

Erik Westlund:

Setup works but punch-line not so much. She is sitting, he is presenting... leads me to believe this is her home. Why then would she toss food on her own floor? Same gag could work in a different context. Off screen interaction works but the conclusion is completely arbitrary and doesn't match the social dynamic in the setup. Good movement and weight in the cake flying over the couch.

Chris Sacco:

Work the man's movement more as he hands it forward.

Jeff Outlaw:

Great ending. It looked like the cake was without any weight when he brings it out, and when they hand it over. Maybe take a closer look at that part?

Sunny Kharbanda:

Try and avoid the characters looking at the camera. It weakens the authenticity of the performance and prevents us from relating to your characters intimately.

Taber Dunipace:

The motion is very soft and floaty, a hallmark of incomplete CG animation. Try to work on your timing and inbetweens.

Frank G:

Good story telling and poses. Strangely, I was more disturbed by the wink than the potential strangling.

sharad kumar:

the cake seems to be coming through his body ,chk that out.U could hv taken some more frms and settled the whole action in the end!....i liked the wink!

Cameron Huber:

A really nice effort man!

1) I don't think you have to have the guy wink at the audience - it's a little corny
2) There are a few little blue anomolies - one right before she takes the cake, and some more when she throws it behind the couch

Despite that, top stuff :)

Henning Koczy:

Awkward posing for him throughout, seems like he has nothing to do. And when he does shift weight, I don't feel it.

Mat Brady:

Love the wink. You get an extra star for that.

Matt Kenley:

if hes winking at the camera... big no no

ClintW:

hahaha....very unexpected....i love it....

Peter Carisi - de Lappe:

Funny concept. Decent acting! Keep going on this one!

arunprasad:

Don't add extra frames

Dan Weiland:

I like the wink - very funny. I think the male character could use a little more anticipation before he reaches for the cake as well as before he goes to choke her, especially since it ends on that pose.

Yeray Díaz Díaz:

It's obvious you had some thought on the clip, pretty nice timing and setting.

I see two main problems, the animation is very mushy, meaning the characters seem to glide from one pose to the other. You need to tighten up the poses, make subtle changes to create convincing moving holds.

The other main problem is the posing, it's a little too cliché. The winking to the camera, the throwing the fruitcake and specially the ending are really predictable. Think about the characters and their feelings, don't go for the first thing that comes to your mind, search deeper and you'll find plenty of performance ideas.

Good luck!

Chris Niewinski:

Love the blink.

Brad Regier:

Fun winky thing. Maybe set it up better with the initial poses being more toward the cam?
Transitions pretty spliny.

Aaron Clement:

I like the originality of your clip. A bit floaty in places, though... definitly some potential there.

Allier Zelaya:

Timing seems slow.

Ambuj:

haha!

Jerry Vavra:

watch those IK hands, it sometimes makes them feel stuck in mid space. I would use FK for this type of situation.

mohinder kaur:

LOL! The ending made me laugh because of it unexpectedness. The slightly politically incorrect nature of it may have had something to do with it as well.

Lisa Taylor:

I like the womans expression when she throws the cake. Is he going to kill her at the end or what?? Nice one.
