Nick Malutama:

Ahahaha, I really liked this one but I think u took the easy way and didn't show the other character speaking.

Hugo Cierzniak:

Humm..maybe you didn't get the aim of the contest was to create an acting on the actor voice...

Brad Bradbury:

Interesting take on things. I like the movements you have also. at 296 it might be nice to show the guy on the phone wave his arm some, so that it's clear who is talking. I would also overshoot or ease on the boys pose at 603 instead of just freezing. same with the ministers at 642. The movement to 642 pops too much.

HariNarayan:

dat was soo funny !!
ha haa
Cuckooo Cuckoo....

rob eddy:

(tim g?) really like it. maybe have the priest's left arm flailing about when you see him in the distance. currently can't see much he's so far away. and maybe shorten the distance of the walk too. animation is really good even though it's not done yet. the priest also looking up at the end is a funny touch, good stuff

Jose Manuel Gabin:

The animation is amazing by moments, but the endind is not finished and all the lypsinc is out the camera. I think it's great anyway.

Hernán Bruna:

Hahaha interesting!

Carlos Fins:

I would say this is probably a lot longer than it really needs to be. Also, in terms of camera work, I think it would have been more effective to have the shots focus on the guy on the phone once the praying guy is interrupted. So you have him being interrupted, and then a long shot of the guy in the distance on the phone. Then, it would have been great to have a camera angle of the phone guy in the foreground, and the praying guy marching over in the background. Just a thought.

Blaine Toderian:

The animation is great, nice poses and supple movement... I just wish I could see more of a connection between the dialogue and what's going on. It feels like we could add any dialogue here; you're working Around the audio, not with it. So perhaps the concept needs work -- but again -- very nice animation!

Rex Lai:

You have nice shot composition, and some of your expressions are quite nice, but I think that your animation skills could have been presented in a much better fashion.

Martin Silfvast:

Nice idea! Quite different from the other animations. But it doesn't look like its finished. The last part seems to be in the blocking phase.

Kevin Scott:

more like a pantomime than a dialog shot.

Adi:

very good idea, but too long

Carlos Chavez:

crazy uh?

Brad Regier:

Nice, solid acting, my friend. You went ahead and made yourself a little mini short film! The most fun part about the challenge was the fast Spanish though. Oh well. :)

Rene:

I get the joke, but the first character took too long to get to the second guy. Maybe if you started with a close shot of the first guy, then when the dialogue starts up, the second one was sitting in the pew right behind him. That way we could also see some character animation with the dialogue.

Yuriko:

Brilliant idea!

KISHORE:

great show of emotions but i didnt get the final part

Julio Cardenes:

the animation is fine but no have relation with the audio, no lipsync

Lauren Andersson:

haha, i think this one would be even better if it showed the guy on the phone up closer so we could see his dialogue when it cut to him but maybe it's only unreadable because its a small preview screen.

Johnne Tyson:

Way too long.

Mark Persson:

Good work, but still needs more work!

Dane Winn:

very nice, love the idea, its a shame you didn't finish it, but i really like the facial expressions at the start, they work really well

Ashley Stringer:

i like this but it seem like a lot more could have been done to it, keep up the good work.

it would be nice to see a fully rendered version if you could render it all out and post it on the forum.

well done

Mark Wheeler:

I’m confused. Don’t be afraid to tackle some lip sync animation.

Alberto Tarantino:

cam'on man...

Dave Blanchette:

Nice animation mechanically, but doesn't seem to express the meaning implied in the dialogue.

nadja kapeller:

nice animation - but I think it should be about the dialog...

brandonbeckstead:

Ha ha sweet! But I dont' get the ending really. I wish you could have finished this one...had alot of promise!

douglas anderson:

I like the concept that you have. But I don't think it fits with the dialogue piece. Also, there was no lip sync shown.

Matt Kelly:

David Thomson:

I havent got a clue what is happening, It seems like the animation is for something else and just has the voice over added to it. it might have helped if you set up what was happening with the priest on the phone maybe seen him take it out. I couldnt see what he was doing until the end.

Jonay O. Urbina:

the scene is from another audio, isn´t it?

Alejandra Perez:

good animation. But, where´s the lip sync?

Ivan:

not good cause you cant see the main animation

David Shum:

Its good animation!
But I think it defeats the whole purpose of 11secondclub.
You probably meant it as a joke, but I would've liked to see your take on the dialog, since you can obviously animate!
Looking forward to your next entry

Alonso Soriano:

the playblast I couldn't tell at first that it was a long shot of the priest talking on the phone

great work on the characters, nice walking and thinking

but I feel like you side stepped the assignment so not sure what stars to give you (taking the analogy of this being a studio job and you getting assigned this audio clip, I'm thinking you'd be in big trouble with the director ;)

Matthew Murray:

nice animation, but wasn't really feelin' the story

Juan Calderon:

the animation here was purty good, I like the establishing scene, but there were no character that talked, this might be a wrong entry as far as I can see, I think you were going for GOD as the Person who talks, but it's not working for me, you sequences might be out of place,

Vedanth Rajan:

nice thought but somehow took a while to understand the last bit!!! had to watch it a couple of times

Jose D.:

¿?

Avner Engel:

LOL

Cool twist at the end!

Alex Jansen:

Did you just not want to do lip sinking?

Alicia Reece:

does this really go with this competition?

Andrew:

honestly, at first i thought this was a mistake!

Ryan Chan:

Haha.. great story and different take on the dialog. Nice way to get around doing no lipsync

Michael Carter:

The animation that was there was good, but I feel it could have been better with lip syncing.

Igor Medovshikov:

Where is the lip sync?

Erik Lee:

very very nice!!! I love the idea you make the guy listening instead of talking, if you can polish the last part, this will be the best ever!

andrea Cignarella:

brilliant!

Tristan Prior:

Fairly good idea, but you should have had the guy on the phone come and sit next to him so you get the dialogue acting for the clip.

Eric Huelin:

I had to watch several times to get what was going on.
When the prayer pushes back he disappears there should be a few frames showing heading to the isle.
I thought he was walking out at frame 350 it would be best to show the guy with the phone and him heading towards him in the same shot.
I didn't know where the sound was coming from the phone guy as a small indistinguishable black dot.
The praying character when seen for the last time looks as if he froze you should add some minor continuous motion before cutting.

Tim W:

The animation is good, but without the lip-sync shot it seems to lose something.

Matt Johnson:

animation is really good I really like the part where hes fuming and walking and then realizes he is on the phone and slows down.
It would have been good to see the preacher actually talking.
dialog aside, the animation is very nice.

Ryoku Weil:

28.7 secs?

jonas ekman:

hehe kind of the easy way out, but from the animation i see, its good

Nicola:

He, I like the idea but I feel you have lost alot by not showing the actual sound clip being spoken.

Andy Bewernick:

I giggled.
