Andrew Bina:
Good!
C. J. Cow:
great effort. watch out for twinning.
David Ruzicka:
I don't know about the head swing from 60-70, little awkward
Chris Welsby:
some great stuff there. maybe a bit more cushioning in some areas would be nice. but good work
David Humphreys:
Nice work!
You have some good poses and great fluidity in your motion
Still I dont know why shes angry though.
Francisco Martinez:
She seems to float into position; its missing the up and downs. The hands should hold on her face perhaps?. They seem to just slide of her face with no objective behind it. Why is rubbing her face(Is she trying to rub the stress off her eyes.)
Eric Huang:
no complaints! awesome job... very expressive :)
Tyler Phillips:
The main thing that bothers me about this animation is that she's hunched over the whole time. Other than that I think there's some good acting.
Kristoffer Clark:
The good animation but i think it has too many strong gestures... maybe cut down a couple of them
Cole Higgins:
close. Not feeling the character behind the eyes though. Next time work towards a clear idea of what the character is thinking,
Alonso Soriano:
decent. nice phrasing. hands are kind of twinning. overall body position feels a little off balance. nice final line.
Eric Scheur:
Wonderful work here! The acting, the subtlety, the mechanics.... just great!
I'm going to get nit-picky, because you leave me no choice. :)
The hands feel a little twinny when they come off of her face between 22 and 27. See if you can break them up a little bit... even if they're only delayed by a frame or two.
The pose on 91 feels a little unneccessary... I love how focused she is on the person she's talking to the entire time, and this pose kind of takes away from it. I think you can use the pose and the face from 118 through the whole "I can give into this or I can resist it" section--it'd probably make her feel a lot more determined to get through to this guy.
The end... I just love it. I love the subtle little changes in the pose to get her to feel frustrated and walk away. That's just so gold. :)
For the lip sync: try to push your mouth shapes further. Especially when she's moving fast, it can be difficult to read when her mouth is opening, so it's totally allowable to go with huge mouth shapes there, so they'll read in motion.
I'm not really reading "do this"... I think you really need to push that OOOOO shape a lot harder, and then contrast it with a big "EEE" shape for "this" and it'll feel a lot closer.
On "reSIST" it feels like the "SIST" should have her jaw opening a lot more to hit that part really hard.
Around 161 (I think), you should really push the OOO shape, for "know when".... between those two words is a huge OOOO, an I'm not really reading that in the mouth.
The "but" looks great... so tense and so restrained! Nice!
Also, with all of the times she says the word "moment", there are a lot of Ms in here. There's a general rule of thumb that you always want to have an M mouth closed for at least two frames, if not more (4 or 5 or 6!) to get it to read really clearly. I know that can be tough, especially if a character is taling really fast, but it'll be worth it to the lipsync if you can find places to steal frames so that you can have really strong Ms. :)
Overall, I think this is looking great, and with a little more polish work, I think you'll have a very very solid reel piece. :)
Aaron Clement:
Just a bit random at times... watch the timing. I like it how she came forward.
garvey harris:
yep, its in the bag, good all round acting
Ezra Allen:
yeah decent effort
Mike Clark:
tune down some of those actions and it would improve this alot.
Bilal Ahmad:
it was perfect 5***** :) i liked the movement of the eyes
Jarred de Beer:
I quite like the acting in this one, it would be nice if the sniff was a bit clearer though, it doesn't quite come through. Nicely done!
Florent Perrin:
Interesting! Would need more polish to make those energic motions more natural soft and bendy. Watch out your arcs though...
Simon Bean:
Wow, Great job I love the emotion in this one!
Great posing, great use of the camera, subtle acting. Not much crit- I would re-think your face shape on "...but..."- Maybe a bit wider??
The angry face throughout the "resist it..." phrase doesn't really work for me. It's done well, but I don't really hear anger in the voice at that point, more helplessness / sorrow. The sniff is slightly under-done for me as well in comparison to some of the other clips which really punctuate that well.
The lip-sync seems slightly off, (but i expect this is just the way the net plays it. My entry certainly suffers from the same problem.) Overall - Brill-ee-unt! A worthy contender for the top spot
miles southan:
Nice job!! Watch out for twinned timings in your arms though. It's ok to have twinned gestures like that sometimes just dont have both arms get there at the same exact time every time.
Mike Courtney:
Lip-sync needs a bit of work. Spine needs a bit more motion to go match the rest of the animation.
Renzo Biffa E.:
more lip-sync work.
Felix:
cool work. for my opinion a bit to agressive expression and overdriven. but very close ...
Phillip Moon:
Great on body and facial acting.
Virgil Mihailescu:
great stuff! maybe the intensity of the audio is not that extreme, but anyway, looks very motivated and well done.
Gregory Marlow:
Looks very good. I think she exits a touch too early...or maybe just too fast. By the end of that line I expect her to be exhausted. Its a lot to get out. But very very good.
Michael Richard:
her hair clipping into her forehead was the first thing I noticed... but after frame 135 there's something about it that's awesome! The arcs on her, and follow through... looks great!
Taber Dunipace:
The animation quality is fair but could use more observance of principals. The acting choices are kind of bland in this one and she tends to move back and forth quite a lot durring the scene which is distracting and unnecessary.
Paulo Clayton:
Lots of emotion, but some actions seem over-exaggerated, not really flowing with what's being said. Definitely on the right track.
Victor Wong:
Good timing on the gestures in general. Lip sync is OK. About the only real concern I see is consistency in volume, which is difficult to judge when the character is moving towards the camera like that.
Robert Tighe:
Nice how she walks off the set. The beginning is strong.
