cooool. i thought the fist was in the way though i couldnt see the elbow...
yeshwanth:
Great lip sync....all the best and good timming
Carlos Fins:
Nice! the fist on the table feels a little light, tho.. but overall it's awesome. Great facial expressions!
Chris Welsby:
very nice. some really strong and natural poses in there
Max Herzfeld:
I like that she's talking on the phone, and I love the expression in her eyes.
It's great how you only have her body and hands moveing in the natural minimum to get the strongest moments across.
The pounding though was out of place, you have to commit to a gesture like that.
Otherwise, excellet job.
Keep it up,
Max
David Ruzicka:
Good
Kristoffer Clark:
Very nice!
Cole Higgins:
good movement but the characters emotions are really far off from the dialogue. The emotions you have do not match the dialogue. Think more about the animation from the inside out. Its not just about nice movenemt.
Dhar:
Excellent work. Not overacted.
Tyler Phillips:
Really nice work.
Aaron Clement:
Cool, I like the ending... The beginning didn't feel right... didn't feel as if she was talking into the phone... good staging.
Ozgur Yildirim:
This one is my favorite!
P Walters:
Nice movement, the emotion isn't quite there though.
Roger Feron:
Great animation.
garvey harris:
when I used to go to acting classes a suggestion I made that made a lot of sense was that if you were on a bus or a in car and passing by and saw the character acting out the part, without hearing what was being said, how much of the expression and body language tells you what is going on?
Mike Pinkin:
Really nice work with the lip-syncing, it's very convincing.
Giorgio Alberto Rodriguez:
WOW men ...your clip is awsome !
Ezra Allen:
yeah nice maybe abit more action would have made it better but its pretty solid. I think the thump on the counter needed a bit more impact but thats tuff because the sound doesnt really fit the action so its always going to look a bit odd.
bruno hamzagic:
cool an subtle acting. good job! :-)
Ramit Batra:
Really like the detailing through fingers and pupils!
Florent Perrin:
Subtle and sensitive, good choices...
Simon Bean:
Lovely Stuff! Great acting, very subtle. Not much crit; I would say the facial expressions don't look too much like the person is on the phone. If you act out a sequence on the phone you find your eyes are often fixed and a bit vacant. The phone could have been locked to the face better, during the sniff especially. I would question the use of the left hand at the end. It doesn't seem to do anything in terms of pose and if anything detracts focus because you anticipate it grabbing the phone but it seems to just hover near it. Hope that helps :) Excellent overall- good job
Mike Courtney:
Good work.
miles southan:
Nice work! The face feels right on. The body and head could use some overlap though. The fingers feel a little stiff too. They could compress when she's hitting the table and drag more around 139 and 223.
Eric Scheur:
Excellent! I love how contained she is, even while being frustrated and distraught! Very appealing hand poses, and the way you get from one pose to the next are really classy. :) Great job!
The one place that really looked like it needed a bit more tightening up is the lip-sync. You're hitting all of the right shapes, and it's almost dead on. But I think that sometimes it looks a little blurry--you can pop from one shape to another much quicker than you'd imagine, as long as you cushion in on the other side...
For example, look at the way you're hitting the first "moment." You're holding that first "m" for a long time, which is great, and the "o" shape is really strong, too... but I think you could get to it faster. I'm not sure you need the shape at 28--it's a little wide and flat for going to an "o." I'd think that the "m" mouth would get narrower, while staying closed, and then pop into that "o." It would help hit the note that much harder.
Also, when you're saying "there's," it would be great to see the tongue producing that "th" sound, even if it's just for a frame around 18 or 19. It would help sell that sound.
Look for places where you can really contrast the mouth shapes--between narrow and wide, and in the front of the mouth to the back of the mouth. Also, getting a little asymmetry in there could help make the lips more believable. You've already got it going on great in the brows--bringing it into the lips will help really bring that face to life. :)
This is a great job, and I think that with just a little more polish, you'll have a dynamite reel piece! Congratulations!
Felix:
excellent :)
a bit calm but very nice, good work!
Victor Wong:
Facial animation is good, lip sync needs a little bit of work but otherwise acceptable.
Phillip Moon:
Like the face work. Body work fit the scene. Good job.
Alexis St-Laurent:
Nice relation with the phone, I like a lot
Virgil Mihailescu:
good idea with the phone. looking great overall, makes sense, natural subtle acting, perfect intensity, lipsync, expressions, all. great job! I bet you'z gonna win this one!
Michael Richard:
just little subtle things, like the fist being more firmly planted on the table, but otherwise, the face and emotions look really good.
Gregory Marlow:
ROCK!!!
Taber Dunipace:
Animation quality is very nice in this piece but the acting loses me in the middle part durring the rambling. I think the beginning and end are stronger in this regard. This character really seems alive!
Matt Johnson:
Great facial animation. Maybe could have been pushed a little more, but nicely done!
Henning Koczy:
Really good. Only one gripe, she seems too collected for the franticness of the voice.
Robert Tighe:
WOW good job. The mouth shapes and overall posing can be pushed a bit. Great timing.
Bilal Ahmad:
nice effort!
Srikanth:
It doesn't feel like she is talking on the phone..
Matt Garward:
Lipsync gets a bit soft in the second half. If she's hitting the table at the beginning, you may want to make that movement a bit bigger to match the noise. Otherwise it's a nice subtle piece of work. :)
