Description: This is my first lip sync and unfortunately I didn't have time to finish it. I was happy with the blocking but ran out of time and there's still a lot of tweaking needed. All crits will be gratefully received because I'll finish it up after the comp

Taylor Potts:

Great expression at the end!
Her COG behaves a little funny during the first shot - try simplifying the action to basic weight shifts (or footsteps) and consider what the feet are doing.

Jason Pennington:

Animation on the main character is well done. A little more attention on the secondary character would help a lot though. He slides back away from the girl without taking steps and then stands there static for most of the animation.

yeshwanth:

Very good expressions .....Good luck

Max Herzfeld:

Really good, but can be better.

The moving camera following the girl forward makes it look like the boy is gliding backwards. A still camera will can compliment a moving character.

Besides some great faces in the begining the boy settles into a static lisening pose. Everyone on screen is alive.

Her gestures seem a bit repetitive in "I can do this... resist it."

The boys arms rest uncomfortably behind him.

In general though the acting is strong.

Keep it up,
Max

Chris Welsby:

some more easing out of the fast moves would help a lot

Tyler Phillips:

The ending is nicely done. I like how she's rubbing her eye. I think in the middle of the animation, the weight in her hips seems stuck in the center. Even though they're rotating now and then I think she could shift her wait from foot to foot, or something.

Mark Dickie:

Nice, some emotional acting here. I think the camera pull out at the start lets it down (the boy almost looks like he's on a conveyor-belt or something..), but everything else works pretty well.

Kristoffer Clark:

The animation of the male takes away from the performance of the girl.

Cole Higgins:

moving to much in accordance to the dialogue. Just because the dialogue changes doesnt means she has to move,. Animate from the inside out not to the sound of the dialogue.

Michael Li:

Started a bit shaky but the rest is pretty good. I just felt her hunching was a bit excessive.

Aaron Clement:

The guy feels a little too still... just needs to move a little more. Good expressive posing and staging.

P Walters:

I like the look down.

Yeray Díaz Díaz:

Need work on the animation, she goes from one pose to basically the mirrored one. Mix them up. Nice last movement.

garvey harris:

wicked ending, if looks could kill, nice work, could've had more interaction between to characters like him trying to hold her and stop her from turning away and she shrugs him off or something. but what you did works - yer - excellentn use of the prop -

when I used to go to acting classes a suggestion I made that made a lot of sense was that if you were on a bus or a in car and passing by and saw the character acting out the part, without hearing what was being said, how much of the expression and body language tells you what is going on?

I think the key here is resisting, and accusing the other character that they also had a moment of weakness

Ezra Allen:

Not bad we all seem to have gone for this open palm face up gesture though, like on frame 85. good effort

miles southan:

Nice work. The acting ideas feel natural but the execution is a bit lacking, especially in the second shot. Especially the way her whole body rotates around basically all at once.

Simon Bean:

Really WISH I'd had time to finish this now. Oh well, there's always next month i suppose

Mike Courtney:

The boy becomes static after the girl moves away. Pop on girl's right elbow near the end.

David Ruzicka:

wiping the eye needs some work. And the guy last 10 frames.

Eric Kramp:

I'm digging how she sizes him up at the end.

Matt Morris:

nice acting choices

Taber Dunipace:

The final look is very nice! I think this is a bit bland acting and animation wise. She hits every accent of the dialog equally and the timing is pretty monotonous overall. Not a bad attempt though.

Phillip Moon:

Niice. Good body language and great on the facial work.

Bilal Ahmad:

good work man!

Virgil Mihailescu:

the gesture in the beginning is not ok, it looks a bit awkward. nice expressions, especially the angry look at the end

Alexis St-Laurent:

Really cool, the last look of hatred. The only thing is the female character does too much movements. I feel she doesn't have enough time to make all these movements in that time frame.

Michael Richard:

She rubs her eye like there's a fleck of something in it, not like a person who's cried and is wiping away a tear... she also has a wierd evil look about her around frame 90. =)

Gregory Marlow:

needs some polish

Matt Garward:

Some of the timing needs work to un-floaty it, but I had to say that I LOVE her look at him during "bet you there was one". That glance down and back up is really great.

Alonso Soriano:

love that up and down look she gives him. He's too dead. she's off balance leaning forwards. Her poses aren't quite natural

Matt Johnson:

nice facial animation!

Victor Wong:

The steps away could be a bit more definitive, but the gestural timing and lip sync are good overall. Some more animation is needed for the boy character in the first part of the scene.

Robert Tighe:

Great when she pulls away from Andy
