Andrew Bina:
Nice but tone down the spec, its distracting.
C. J. Cow:
pretty good, but... blinn? why?? u know if you change the baked viewport texture to high quality andy's eyebrows will then be visible, right?
Micah Betts:
Good job but I think the first pose to the second is too sudden, she goes from firm to confused too quickly
Eric Huang:
Very cool poses.
I think the hips could ease out more (around frame 18). Also, the back feels stiff.
David Ruzicka:
I like it. I don't think she should start with that folded arms pose and sprint forward.
Chris Welsby:
i like the hand pose at the end
Tom Law:
I really like her expression on frame 208.
Nathaniel Villanueva:
everything is great cept the body is looking a little stiff. push that line of action a bit, even if the acting is more subtle. really dig the handwork
Mike Clark:
starts to get really good around frame 50. the second pose seems like shes attacking. besides that, nice original acting choices
Tyler Phillips:
The beginning is a little quick though it was good animation.
Cole Higgins:
in the beg. around frame 29 it bothers me because shes not looking at the person she is suposed to be taling to. Actually i not really sure why shes looking where shes looking through the whole piece. I feel like the way shes acting the person she talking to would be right in front of her. right now the person is off to the side. Little bothersome. good work though.
Paul:
ur just an amazing animator:)
Mark Dickie:
Pretty decent effort. I think some of the movement could use a little more polish, but overall it's hard to fault. I quite like some of the poses you hit.
Aaron Clement:
A bit sudden with the movement at the start. It didn't make the audio that well. She looks too shiny. Good silhouette.
Yeray Díaz Díaz:
Nice job, goes with the clip and the poses are expresive but not extreme. The last but looks like she's out of balance though. Nice!
garvey harris:
I'm copying and pasting the same comment where appropriate - when I used to go to acting classes a suggestion I made that made a lot of sense was that if you were on a bus or a in car and passing by and saw the character acting out the part, without hearing what was being said, how much of the expression and body language tells you what is going on?
Dan Dulberger:
I like this one. Abit explosive at the start, but quite expressive and also personal. I really like the hands together stuff towards the end. Haven't seen anyone else do that (yet). Fresh.
Ezra Allen:
little bit sharp at times, when your doing those movements on the wrists like at 209, watch the poses and check how much movement you have there I think your pushing it. Also make sure it doesnt just come from the wrists you need it from the arms as well
Michael Richard:
watch the tweening, arms moving at the same time, on the same beat. Good feminine poses around 125.
Bilal Ahmad:
good effort overall.
Vivian Nikolich:
This is really good! I love that you animated the clump of hair that is hanging down in the front - it adds to the character.
I only have a few critiques:
The turn in the beginning is a little to fast and sudden. Also, her arm movements after the turn are a little stiff (up until frame 30 roughly).
I like how she puts her hands together at frame 120, and then points at the end (210) with both her hands. However, between frames 120 and 210, her hands seem to be in that position a bit too long. If she maybe cupped her hands or bent her fingers, it might be more natural.
Keep up the great work!
Simon Bean:
Lovely pose for start frame, but then FLIES into the steps. Think you've maybe forced the animation to the audio too much and it shows through. Like the acting overall, alot of similar poses to my own effort- must have been thinking on similar lines ;) I think perhaps deleting some keys to connect the poses throughout the middle phase would have made it look more natural?? I think this snappy poses to poses method we see so much in movies nowadays works great to punctuate snappiness, but for subtlety I think perhaps there could have been more flow to make it more natural. Hope this helps ;) Great Effort
miles southan:
Nice work! That first big move on 11 feels stiff though. You need some kind of anticipation into it and dont rotate the body all together like that.. break it up. That's a problem throughout - the body is treated too much as one node and there's not enough overlap in the upper body, neck and head. The fingers as well seem to be treated as one unit.
Mike Courtney:
The turn seems to be happening all at once. Decide an order, like left foot then hips, then spine, and so on.
Max Herzfeld:
This piece was pretty good, but could be improved.
The first transition from the snitty stance to the monologue should be smoother.
mostly, just work on the changes of emotions being more believable, (like from angry to vulnerable)
I really like the slight lift before "I bet you there was one"
good job and keep at it,
Max
Victor Wong:
I do get the sense of weight when the hands come together. Good lip sync and gestures.
Felix:
nice animation... sometimes a bit awkward poses, but cool dynamics and follow trough..
Sean Graham:
Nice! Like how she uses the space in frame. Like the way you handle the hand poses and go somewhere with the gestures. Some of the movement is pretty abrupt, unnaturally sharp. Could use some loosening of the character, but this could be really great with some further love.
Taber Dunipace:
I like the unique hand gesture you chose, but I think you held it too long at the end there. The acting is fair, but the animation needs better principals.
Virgil Mihailescu:
the fast move in the beginning doesn't match the style of the rest of the animation. it's also not detailed enough and her body starts and stops too abruptly. I like the rest much more, especially the hands like in a prayer gesture, touching the nose. nice touch ;) hehe.
Alexis St-Laurent:
I like the body language, I jsut have a problem with the first move, the turning around...
Gregory Marlow:
awesome work. the glossy skin is distracting but I am not worried about that. It looks really good.
Erik Girndt:
Nice work. I really like it when she puts her hands on her chest, as well as when she puts them together up by her face.
The turn could use another step to turn around. She whips around pretty fast.
Alonso Soriano:
little more life in the face and the hips would bring this up. (like you have in the hands)12-65 the hands are a little too big, and similar, maybe 1 hand for part of that or something, just a little to big for the dialogue
Matt Garward:
I really like the action on the sniff, with the hands together. It's a good, closed acting choice. But I don't like the way her hands stay closed for the last action. Nice work on the rest. :)
