C. J. Cow:

cool drawings

Carlos Fins:

I didn't get the bus at the end with the smiling guy. Good piece, though!

Chris Welsby:

Its always cool to see some 2D work! This is looking really good. I think would of been nice to take out a couple of the poses and had a few nice holding poses. But its still looking cool

Max Herzfeld:

The context and the facials/ poseing are really great, I love the subtlety of the acting.

Lip sync is a bit off though.

It would be pretty cool if she looked back after the bus stopped.

Also, it's nice to see other methods of animating.

Great job,
Max

Tom Law:

I really like the animation on frames 140-180, looks really polished.

nideep:

good to see 2d entries here!..nice one!...did u use 3d reference for this?

Tyler Phillips:

What's up with the guy in the bus at the end? Nice animation.

Philip Crow:

I'm not a fan of this ending, it seems tacked on.

Cole Higgins:

confusing. Nice movement. Dont know what shes thinking.

Aaron Clement:

Okay, why was she saying this at the bus stop? Felt a little busy at the beginning. I like the visual look.

Jamal D. Owens:

Very Nice. Outside that the lip sync being a little off, good job. Keep up the good work.

David Humphreys:

why is she hesitating? it might have been better to show the bus first, and then show her hesitating.

Mike Pinkin:

Really nice job, especially that you were able to capture the correct movements and emotion AND draw all the individual frames.

garvey harris:

sorted, to me, you're an animator, works for me

Ezra Allen:

not bad

HariNarayan:

Kool !!

miles southan:

Looks really good! I dont think you need that second shot though. The last "One" seems to be a bit late.

ArunVijayan:

hey.....really good effort....and nice acting too....keep it up!!!!

Jarred de Beer:

Really nice to see some 2d!! I like her finger brushing the hair behind her ear, as well as her directing her focus towards the camera on 'ther was one', but the 'but' just before that could be exaggerated more. Otherwise lovely animation of her body and arms, with the handbag and overlapping action of her bracelet, perhaps the bracelet could have moved up and down her arm instead of just sitting on her wrist? Her eyes need to emote more, rather than just blinking and looking around. Well done!

Mike Courtney:

The body movement flows alright, but the lip-sync could be improved.

Simon Bean:

Nice

Eric Scheur:

I love seeing more than CG in these entries. :)

I really dig the secondary action you've got going on with her purse strap, and brushing her hair. Very nice!

I think, overall, you could pull in a bit of the performance--it feels like there's a bit too much movement in places. Finding poses that you can stick with will help make this feel like more of a believable character.

For example, watching her head from 7 to 17 to 24, it feels a bit like it's being thrown around on her neck. It's distracting to the eye, and a little difficult to follow.

You do get more into one pose near the end of the piece, and I think that works really well--it gives us time to read her face and her hand gestures.

During the sniff, I really like what you're doing with her face and her eyes. :) I notice that you're also stretching the body a bit to work with that sniff, and I think that's really working well. I'd recommend pushing it even further, to get some movement in the different body parts. The shoulders, for example, can relate a great deal of information, and can move separately from the body itself. Crying and sniffling are great places to make use of this. :)

Very nice effort overall. I hope to see more from you in upcoming competitions! :)

Victor Wong:

You need to be careful of volume with your figure. Otherwise you've got some nice acting happening here.

Taber Dunipace:

I have no idea what's going on here conceptually, so I'll just move on to the animation. Kudos aplenty for doing this in 2D! Good simple character construction helps this along a bit. The animation is nice, but things are changing size a lot and features keep sliding around the head.

Keep this up though!

Bilal Ahmad:

good work man!

Gregory Marlow:

Sweet. This is really good animation. Not sure I understand the context but very nice work anyway.

Michael Richard:

Audio was lagging, and even more so towards the end of the clip. I like the style, and I think the animation is actually pretty good.

Paulo Clayton:

I like the stylization and how the main character was expressive and still artful in the animation style. Not crazy about the bus showing up at the end; in the least have the main character interact more surely with the final cutscene. Great job otherwise!

Robert Tighe:

Hee hee What's up with the dude on the bus?
