Jason Pennington:
Solid entry. the animation seems a little bouncy though, in comparison to the emotions of the character.
Kevin Rucker:
Too many poses.
Ryan Chan:
Some of the acting choices are great, but she's a little too bouncy in the Y.
David Atkins:
kinda over busy
Mike Clark:
she moves around way too much. choose a few of these and tone the rest down. holds are your friends.
David Ruzicka:
too much up and down movement. I like the face.
Chris Welsby:
some really nice stuff here.love the hand moves around frame 155. I think tho the hips are moving a bit to much, she is feeling very bouncy. but cool work
David Humphreys:
Lots of twinning on your poses and although you have some good holds your character looks like shes dancing when shes moving.
your flat straight view dosent help you either.
Tom Law:
I really like the energy in this, but perhaps she shouldnt be bouncing up and down so much.
Jonathan Gomez:
You need to work on keeping the character grounded. There is too much body movement competing with facial expressions. Make us the audiance notice only one of those at a time.
Roger Feron:
Nice smooth animation, but poses/gestures over done.
Cole Higgins:
animate to her inside emotions not to the dialogue.. Think about what shes feeling when shes delivering her lines.
Tyler Phillips:
Wow, this is amazing! I've never seen anything like it.
Michael Li:
Really good animation and poses. It just bothers me that her behaviour clashes with her voice.
Aaron Clement:
Just feels as if she's moving too much for the delivery... doesn't match the audio that well... 'I can do this, I can give into this' felt good.
P Walters:
The beginning movements seems over the top but there's some really nice motion going on here.
Yeray Díaz Díaz:
There's some nice animation but needs some containment, there's too much motion for the clip.
Jamal D. Owens:
Really nice animation. Lots of power in the poses. I like that. I really like the near end. Keep up the good work!!
garvey harris:
whoah, kick ass performance, all the way to the bank. take that oscar home. I've given top marks to others, but so far, best performance seen and am only halfway through.
Mike Pinkin:
Definitely covers a wide range of emotion with the movements, but the body seems a bit too bouncy, almost like she's dancing. The facial expressions are well done.
Ezra Allen:
ha Sassy! I think your over using that knee bend thing, you have a similar dip going on through out makes her very bouncy which is working at points but not all the way through. But I like this one bags of attitude if you just subtle out a few sections like I think "resist it" is way OTT. Cool!
Eric Scheur:
Oooh! I love how she's bouncing up and down the whole time---it really brings through her frustration and anger and desperation! Very very nice!
There's a lot of great body mechanics work here, too. :)
Overall, as much as I love how much she's moving, it feels like she might be moving a bit too constantly... try to find places to break up the action: moving a lot at one time, and slowing down at others. That way you can get more contrast and interest in there. :)
I also feel like the "I don't know" gesture, though really well executed, doesn't quite work for this piece. That gesture says to me "I'm trying to figure out when your moment was" but the audio sounds more like "You know you had that moment, and if YOU look hard enough, YOU'LL know when it was"....
Overall, though, this is some really fine work!
miles southan:
Nice job, especially with the ending. I like the young bouncy quality of the animation. I'm generally leery about any shot involving someone looking straight at camera for no known reason. Your mechanics are on the right track. Just pay attention to the hips a little more. They're very stiff on the walk up. Also, you've got some leg pops there too that you'll want to smoothe out. Dont forget about your fingers and your arcs.
Vivian Nikolich:
I think I can see what your original idea/blocking for the animation was, although I think it turned out too bouncy and fast. If it was toned down quite a bit, I think that could help to make the emotions clearer. Also, next time you could play around with the camera angles a bit. If the camera was closer, it might add to the emotion.
Keep up the good work!
Ramit Batra:
Great Work with hands and feet!
Shahbaaz Shah:
Great poses and energy, but maybe a little too much going on for the context of the line. A little bouncy in the hips. But looks good!
Florent Perrin:
I think most of your poses are "cliché". The character is always moving even if there's no need for it. Perhaps Think about what's necessary or not.
Mike Courtney:
Excellent work, would have liked a stronger pose at the end
Simon Bean:
Wow, some of this is lovely, but what's the hand gesturing throughout "i don't know" about? that sums up for me what's wrong here, it's just not convincing acting. You've gone to town on the poses, and there are some gorgeous one's in there, but there are some which REALLY distract the viewer from the emotions you should be punctuating. I Love the "always a moment " and "give in" sections. I would resist the going OTT on "resist", "i don't know" and "but". Hope that helps :)
Dan Dulberger:
Alot of symmetric poses that detract from it. They probably wouldn't have been as much of a problem had the camera not been head on. Look up the term 'twins' (drawing term) if you didn't know it already. Animation was smooth otherwise.
Matt Garward:
I bit toooo busy. She's hitting every word or idea with a bounce, or an action, or something, so she ends up kinda bouncing through it. Pick a couple of ideas or poses and work with them. I think the action at "I don't know when..." into the hands on hips is way too much, as is the big bounce when her hands are on her hips. Make those bounces mean something. The animation itself is good, with nice weight to it. The lipsync and expressions are likewise good, but hard to make out because her head moves around so much. Good work, just a bit too busy. :)
Renzo Biffa E.:
good.
Micah Betts:
Good overall but maybe a little too bouncy
Felix:
nice and smooth animation, really natural movement. what i miss a bit are the hands they keep too static and too straight. the plevis animation is too much and too constant. needs more impulse / punctuation but really good.
Kellie:
I love the shake of the hips during the last line's delivery. Her gestures are well done with lots of great, believable motion.
Matt Morris:
bit too busy for me.
Mark Dickie:
I quite like this. I think it's the extremes she goes to, the over-acting, that makes it so appealing. Nice work!
Brandon Ayers:
Nice poses, but your timing is very even. Also too much up and down movement of the character. Too much movement period. Don't be afraid to hold poses. Packing in as much movement as possible is not usually the best idea. Unless the character is Olive Oil :)
Taber Dunipace:
The animation is pleasing, but the acting is pretty crazy in this one. It seems like how a kid might wildly gesticulate on a stage when they try acting for the first time.
Phillip Moon:
Sweet. She moves in on the confrontation, and away her only moment of hesitation. Great facial and body work.
Sean Graham:
She's pretty bouncy! This has some really nice elements to it, and polished too. I'd just tone down the up and down cuz she kind of looks like she needs to use the bathroom.
Virgil Mihailescu:
good looking animation, lots of nice stuff going on, but I don't think it fits the action/context very well. she looks more like she's at a cheerleading competition or a party or something.
Michael Richard:
I was originally going to say too much up and down on her, too many times... but I think it actually works with her character, and your foot plants help that.
Gregory Marlow:
Dude, she totally moves like a teenager. I wish the audio sounded more angry than hurt. If so then It would be aweasome.
Nigel Style:
The upper chest going back and forth and the attitude in the walk(hips) doesn't seem as frantic and desperate for this line of dialogue. Keep her attention(head/eyes) on who's she's talking to in that walk. Somebody has just done something or said something to her and this is her response. She's trying to convince somebody of something. Sell it! The hand/arm stuff at 133-ish could go and you could keep her curled up like at 129ish till she comes out defiant with her stance at 170ish. Just an idea. Nice though.
Eric Huang:
Good stuff overall.
The poses are too twinned and everything is so symmetrical... I'd say definitely break it up. Also the pose at the end where she's pointing at the camera... it's not working for me.
Alonso Soriano:
good. Tone it down so it's stronger. Movement seemed pretty strong, but to much moving around and swinging arms around and stuff
Victor Wong:
Maybe a little too bouncy, but the timings and lip sync work.
Robert Tighe:
Fun! Nice effort. Could be framed better, maybe closer. Too much up and down between the poses. I feel like there are 2 different attitudes going on here. Exasperated and Defiant.
Bilal Ahmad:
nice effort!
