Jason Pennington:
strong entry! lots of nice little touches, like her subtle head movement on "bet". good job!
C. J. Cow:
love the subtle head nod on "i bet..."
Micah Betts:
Very good, but I think the lunge at the beginning could have more follow through
David Atkins:
lip sync is off. push it more
Eric Huang:
Not bad at all :)
After she brushes her hair, I feel like the body is pretty stiff afterwards. The body just feels floaty throughout the whole thing.
David Ruzicka:
One of the better ones.
Chris Welsby:
some nice acting choices in this
Tom Law:
I like the pose around frame 120. As well, the expressions are really good.
Kristoffer Clark:
I like the eye movement, and some of the gestures. Torso felt stiff and maybe a little more head movement.
Cameron D:
Very well done, IMO. Not over-acted. The final segment ("I bet you there was one") was only slightly 'accusing', which is the feeling I get from the audio-track.
Tyler Phillips:
Nice subtle acting. I think it could use a blink on frame 186 or so. Good job.
Cole Higgins:
too even. Theres no contrast in the acting. its good but in order for it to be great i think she needs more raw emotion in her body and her acting. Take us on a ride. Right now its alittle like going straight on a stright road. Keeo going and great effort.
Michael Li:
I like the overall direction here. Maybe the animation wasn't top notch but overall I like the performance.
Aaron Clement:
Nice, I like the acting in this. It felt natural... good job.
Yeray Díaz Díaz:
mmm... this rings a bell...
Jamal D. Owens:
Nice!! I love the poses. Great animation.
David Humphreys:
good timing weight and direction the only thing i have is your tear wipe on frame 127 is a bit foaty, it dosent look like your making contact at all, overall good work though.
garvey harris:
almost, almost there, just not enough last 30% of the performance althought I've given it top marks -
when I used to go to acting classes a suggestion I made that made a lot of sense was that if you were on a bus or a in car and passing by and saw the character acting out the part, without hearing what was being said, how much of the expression and body language tells you what is going on?
I think the key here is resisting, and accusing the other character that they also had a moment of weakness, so far I'm not seeing that being expressed enough
Ezra Allen:
yeah nice. Needs abit more weight on the step into camera at the start.
miles southan:
Looks good. The lip synch needs work though and there arent enough blinks. Also you need some variations on the brows in the beginning. I like the idea of what she does with her arm on the sniff but then going into the crossed arm feels unnatural. She would probably just keep it up there. Also, the fingers are tending to move all at once.
Vivian Nikolich:
This is one of the best animations I've seen so far for this month's competition.
My main critique is that I can't tell wether she is wiping her eye, or fixing her hair (around frame 130). It could be that just rendering it with lighting and shadows, that it would be clear.
Also, her neck seems a little stiff between frames 30 and 100.
Keep up the great work!
Jarred de Beer:
The expression after the sniff is really great, well done there!! It would be nice to have more head movement for the sniff though, rather than just brush her hand over her face.
Simon Bean:
Lovely and subtle facial acting. The finger / sniff really lets it down- un-natural. The fist on "resist" (ohh that rhymes ;) ) feels like its illustrating the meaning rather than acting it. Love the surge forward to begin, IMO maybe a little more body movement through the "do this" phrase top carry the emotion necessary? The "bet you..." phrase is really excellent. Hope that helps :)
Florent Perrin:
Some good poses. Needs stronger choices.
Mike Courtney:
Good overall. Slight pops in the spine near the end.
Mark Dickie:
Pretty good effort. Could use a little more dramatic acting.
Taber Dunipace:
Very nice use of the sound effects (steps, sniff, etc). The acting seems well thought out and the animation is fair, but I think it gets mushy during the rambling part. Overall, a fine job!
Bilal Ahmad:
good work man!
Virgil Mihailescu:
starts impressive, but then you didn't find something real to do with those hands, the acting doesn't look very motivated.
Gregory Marlow:
a little dull
Alonso Soriano:
pretty close. shoulders are a little stiff, arms could feel a little heavier, little more interaction between eyes and brows
Victor Wong:
Very very subtle in the gestures; that works with this character. Good facial expressions and lip sync.
