Micah Betts:
Good overall, but I think "Do this, give in to this" could have used some stronger poses
Carlos Fins:
Nice! Lip synch feels off on the first half of it. The head shake is too stiff.. only the head is moving and the body feels pinned. Good work, though!
Alonso Soriano:
really nice ideas for communicating with how her body is turned, you could use that even more. After she turns away to profile just have her look back with her head, not turning her whole body back. Hands are obviously not very considered. Final emotion change isn't strong enough to match the dialogue.
Chris Welsby:
nice work
Dhar:
Great atmosphere/lighting. Very effective use of minimal poses. Job very well done.
Kristoffer Clark:
A little more facial expression
Roger Feron:
Starts off ok, but I think her expressions and actions become a little vague, so the emotion of the voice doesn't match her body language. Nice smooth animation though. The head shaking during "I don't know when your moment was..." worked well.
Cole Higgins:
work harder
Tyler Phillips:
I like the subtle acting choices.
Michael Li:
The acting is really good in this one. Maybe you could have the guy fidget a little bit, and if only her fingers had more animation. that would have been more realistic I feel.
Aaron Clement:
Too linear... needs breakdown poses... add more arcs to the movements. I like the look of the character.
Yeray Díaz Díaz:
Too flat, she barely moves on a very intense clip.
Jamal D. Owens:
Good. The lip sync is a little off and certain poses are sort of weak. But, nice overall. Keep up the good work.
garvey harris:
when I used to go to acting classes a suggestion I made that made a lot of sense was that if you were on a bus or a in car and passing by and saw the character acting out the part, without hearing what was being said, how much of the expression and body language tells you what is going on?
I think the key here is resisting, and accusing the other character that they also had a moment of weakness, so far I'm not seeing that being expressed enough
Ezra Allen:
Not bad but she needs a lot more weight, and a little more animation in parts. I think the opening where she steps in is working best at the moment, but this is also where the lack of weight is most evident, as she turns on the first fall sound you need much more of a dip here where she settles her weight into the step.
Dan Dulberger:
Nice non-exaggerated acting.
Eric Scheur:
There's some really sweet acting choices in here. :) The way she turns and settles into that pleading gesture is really nicely done... The turn away and sniffle on 128 is really pretty, too. :) Very nice subtle work.
In some places, though, she feels a bit stiff or slow.... For example, the turn from 58 to 80 (which I love the idea of), could probably be a little faster... remember that when we turn our bodies, we're moving a lot of mass, so it will start off slow to get that mass moving, but then the inertia will take over and we'll get our 120 lbs (or so) moving pretty fast until we have to use our muscles to bring it to a stop. The turn right now feels a bit mechanical, like someone's turning a crank to get her to move that way.
The pose and delivery around 183 is really powerful! That straight spine, that head turn, and the facial pose... that reads really clearly and believably. :)
Contrasting that, though, the turn to the last pose around 192 feels a little slow again, and she ends up feeling a little more stiff there--I think it's the mechanical feel of the turn again... it should be faster. Plus, when she turns her head, remember that it will turn in a little bit of an arc--it will probably either tip up a bit, or dip down... you can follow her nose to track her head arcs, and make sure that the body is moving naturally.
Overall, though, I think this is some really fine work with a lot of potential. :) I look forward to seeing more in the future!
Taylor Potts:
Nice acting choice to have her talk inwardly at the end. Careful of the intersecting wrists!
Michael Richard:
Really sweet arcs in body movement. I feel the mouth doesn't have enough shapes in it to compliment the voice over.
Florent Perrin:
Good poses and attitudes, natural rythm. Good choices of acting too. Next step? Refine more and more, watch your arcs, polish polish and polish!
Simon Bean:
Nice cinematic treatment :D
The emotion just isn't there in the acting for me unfortunately. Good effort
Mike Courtney:
Lip-sync is a bit off. Even though the man is in silhouette, he needs to move.
Andrew Stovesand:
Cool I like the turn at "and I dont know when your moment was but". Nice
Max Herzfeld:
Some great poses and facials but the movements are unaturally smooth.
Keep working at it,
Max
Victor Wong:
Volume is a small concern, but there's some good acting happening here and the timings are handled nicely.
Taber Dunipace:
This is a very nicely staged and acted scene, though the animation quality is dragging it down. Study up on the principals and you should be in good shape!
Sean Graham:
This one starts strong, hitting that first pose at 'always', but then kind of tails off performance wise. It just needs some pumping up, getting a little more snappiness to the movement and figuring out what to do with her body to help sell her dialog.
Virgil Mihailescu:
she looks more like she's talking to herself. besides this, the animation is nice. the other character could be less statuary though.
Gregory Marlow:
She looks a little dead at times
Robert Tighe:
SWEET! I love the posing. The first turn-around is great. No real lipsynch though.
Bilal Ahmad:
nice effort!
Daniel Harriman:
Nice piece! the acting works, though she seems a bit too composed for her tone of voice. The motion is good too though there are some parts where the arcs could be better: when she turns at frame 60 and then looks away at frame 200. Overall though, a good job!
